Question about using ManyChat with Publich web site on whatsapp

Hi All,

 

I am new to ManyChat and i have those questions:-

1) Can i connect manychat to our public web site to answer questions? if the answer is Yes, then which platform it depend on chatgpt? copilot? or its own?

 

2) is it supported to first ask a question in English & French, and based on the selection to ask the user the other questions in their preferred languages?

Currently, there is no way do so using Manychat. 😕

If your concern is to have a widget on your website do support your visitor, you can use https://openwidget.com/. This is a open source platform and you can connect it to Openai (using your own api key).

 

Regarding your 2º question, yes! You can ask the user what’s their preferred language and then send them the questions based on that! You can use the chatgpt native integration on Manychat as well. 😊

      Thanks for the reply, for point-1 i need a bot to show on our website and also a whatsapp bot that scan our public website and answer users input accordingly? this is achievable ?Thanks

      Yes ​@sota, if you use openwidget.com you can have a bot on your website and redirect your visitors to WhatsApp and have Manychat answering them on WhatsApp 😊​​​​


      Check their website for more information about their capabilities.

      Regarding your last message, that is a different thing. Manychat AI is used inside your social media DM’s. You can train it using your website, but you can not use it on your website (like a widget chatbot)

        ​@rodrigo_silvano  ok noted, but can i use our website as data source and use the whatsapp as the publish platform ? so the users get answers from our public web site information (which are many html pages) inside whatsapp manychat bot?

         

        second question, what is the reason this will not work if we embed the manychat inside our website directly ?
