Say hello to new followers

You can try the following alternative method, which has worked for some clients (not guaranteed to work for everyone):

Try the following:

1. In *Manychat, go to Settings → Channels → Instagram → Say hi to new followers → Set up → Refresh permissions.

2. When the page opens and shows only the Instagram login, copy the full URL from the browser's address bar.

3. Paste the URL into a text editor.

4. In that URL, replace all occurrences of "IG" with "FB", except in the part that says "config".

   • Example:

     • default_business_login_option=IG → default_business_login_option=FB

     • Do not change the part containing "config".

5. Copy the edited URL back into the browser's address bar and press Enter.

6. This should open the Facebook login page. Log in using your Facebook credentials (the same ones that manage your connected Page and Instagram account) and complete the authorization process.
