Say Hi to new followers feature UNAVAILABLE on IG

Hello,
I am new here, I created and linked my Business FB profile, IG account and business page on Manychat easily. The only feature I was interested in using is unavailable to my account. I think I have all set up correctly. 

So, I have a FB page - FB business page - my IG profile is set as Business - On IG Connected tools are OK. all seems in order I refresh Manychat permissions but that feature remains unavailable.

I am not sure if this is something I can solve, if so how? 

 

 

Hi ​@Francesca M, as this a new feature, Meta is not allowing all the accounts to have access to it. - it depends on meta not manychat - I guess the best you can do is to wait few days and tray again to see if you can have access. Also you can contact Meta team directly to see if they can help you to get acsess to this feature.

Yes, contact them through the chat if you have an Ads Account.

• I want to confirm whether my account is blocked by Meta’s beta access.

If it shows unavailable, then yes you currently do not have access. Nothing you or manychat can currently do

Other people have access and I don’t–why is that? 

It’s in Beta so that means it’s limited to certain groups of people for testing. It’s been unreliable for a lot of people so it’s clear it’s a work in progress. Only restriction I’ve seen is a minimum of 1000 followers, but still even then those with that amount still don’t have access. No clear timeline of when it will be available to everyone.

Thank you! That may be my problem because I have under 1,000 followers.

Hi ​@megcastellon , to be honest Meta is the one who has the criteria to select the accounts that can participate in the FTDM Beta innitiative. There is not an official announcement that accounts under 1000 followers can´t access this feature.
