The current Search in Inbox for Manychat Desktop doesn’t work.
So here you can see I have an open conversation with a person called Olatz:
However, when I search for “olatz”, I get no results:
In the conversation with Olatz I even mentioned her name, so it’s not just in the Contact name but also in the conversation itself:
However, still Manychat returns NO RESULTS.
Support replied that the search functionality in the Inbox is designed to lonly through messages sent by your contacts, not messages sent from Manychat — whether by a team member or a Live Chat agent.
But it doesn’t make any sense. I cannot believe this behavior is by design, because if it is, then the whole Search feature is useless. No search works like this.
And in the phone it works! If I search for “olatz” in my phone, it returns me the contact:
Can anybody from the Product Team take a look? Because this really needs to be improved.
I cannot believe I’m paying 99$ for a Search that doesn’t work.
