I’m running a Meta Lead Generation ad (using the "Instant Forms and Messenger" hybrid type) where my video script has a soft CTA asking people to "Comment AD" for a free PDF. Because this is a "dark post" created in Ads Manager and not on my profile grid, I’m struggling to get the ManyChat Instagram Comment Trigger to recognize the ad and fire the DM automation.
In ManyChat, when I try to use the "Specific Post" trigger, the manual "Enter Post ID" box isn't appearing, and the post doesn't show up in the "Promoted Posts" list. I’ve already set up a Ref URL as a backup on the Lead Form's thank-you page, but I really want the "Comment" trigger to work for the social proof. Has anyone found a reliable way to link a comment automation to this specific "Instant Form" ad type without having to post the ad to the main grid?
