Send DM to new followers on Instagram not working

Hey ​@BartNL & ​@Nolanderson, some accounts (including mine) are noticing this issue and Manychat already alert Meta team about this.

Meta is working to fix it, and we hope they can do it soon! 🙌🏼  

Same problem here. Loosing new followers contact daily because of it. 

I checked it today and see that it’s now working.  

What did you do different ? 

Nothing, it just started to work on its own.  I’m guessing it was a fix on Meta’s side 🤷

I’ve been trying every day for the last two weeks. I get a pop up that says”To use this automation, you’ll need to update your Instagram permissions to sync with the latest connection.” I proceed to do this and save permissions. Then I get a pop up that says “Wrong account selected. Use account coachjulirico to refresh permissions.” The account I use is the Coachjulirico one….

The whole thing is really strange.  I was able to update my permissions no problem but then had issues with the new AI skills and got them working but in the process Manychats tech support showed me that my settings were using one of my emails for account settings that I don’t use for anything on meta or Manychat…everything works but the email is one that I don’t use for any log in are admin activity.  

All I can recommend is to work with Manychat’s tech support to  ttrouble shoot.
