Hi everyone,

I have a quick question. Is it possible to send abandoned cart messages to customers through a WhatsApp template when integrating WooCommerce with ManyChat? I’d really appreciate any insights or experiences you can share.

Hey, @samar

Yes, it is possible!
You can do it using Make, Zapier or n8n.
First, you’ll need to create the contact on Manychat, using Manychat’s API (https://api.manychat.com/swagger), and then, send them the WhatsApp template.

I hope this helps 🙂

There is no abandoned cart module in Make.com.

@samar no there isn’t.
You have to gather the information on WooCommerce, check if the purchase was completed, and if not, follow the instructions I said above. 🙂

WooCommerce → gather the customer information (to a CRM/Google Sheets) → use Make to send the WhatsApp templates

I’d like to have the same information.

I’d like to activate an abandoned cart automation through sending a WhatsApp template via ManyChat.

The flow should be something like this:

  1. Users subscribe to ManyChat and their WhatsApp account.

  2. They visit the website.

  3. They add products to the cart but leave without purchasing.

  4. Through the ManyChat pixel, the system recognizes them as a WhatsApp user (even if they haven’t registered on the website).

  5. ManyChat activates the abandoned cart integration.

Is this possible in any way?

The same thing happens, for example, with email marketing automation in ActiveCampaign or Brevo, where the abandoned cart sequence is triggered by events recognized through their pixel.

Hey @MatteoGamberini!
Yes, it is possible, and you can make it using tools like Make, Zapier and/or N8n.

When someone abandoned their cart, your email marketing tool trigger and send that information via webhook, then you have to build your flow using the tools I mentioned to send them a message to WhatsApp through Manychat.
