Hello community, I have two questions about smart delay

1.
I set up an automation to notify my Instagram followers about a product promotion since we cannot use broadcasting in Instagram to all followers who used to leave a message.
I'm not sure if this will work as expected. The Smart Delay is set to send them the promotional link 10 hours after their first interaction with me (=clicking the Show Me the Deal button), and they’re supposed to receive it between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM in their time zone, right?

2.
An Instagram creator sent me a DM on March 29 right after I left a comment on her post. I only clicked on the button yesterday, but I still received an automated reply.
That should have been outside the 24-hour messaging window, so I'm not sure why the auto-reply still worked. Do you know why this happened?

Thanks in advance.

Hey, @sharonworld

  1. That’s correct! After the user clicks on the “Show Me the Deal” button, it opens the 24-hour window. Then, the smart delay starts, and the last message is sent 10 hours later, between 9am and 10pm.

  1. When you clicked the button, you opened the 24-hour window. They couldn’t send you any messages before you clicked the button, but once you did, the 24-hour window was re-opened.

Let me know if this helps 🙂
