Smart Delay – Best Way to Send a Message at a Fixed Time (8 PM)?

Hey everyone! 👋 Working on an automation flow and wanted to get your thoughts.

📌 My scenario:
User enters the flow at any time of day → Smart Delay holds them until 8:00 PM → First reminder message goes out automatically at 20:00.

⚙️ My current setup:
Smart Delay → Duration → Continue between: 20:00 - 21:00 / Any Day

My questions:
✅ Is this setup correct for this use case?
✅ Will everyone who enters the flow during the day receive the message at 20:00?
✅ Is there a better way to achieve this?

Any help from those with experience would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

Hey @Eccboss , yes, this setup works and is correct. You can set up a delay for 1 minute and send it between 20 and 21hs and it will work for most people.

The only scenario you have to consider is what happens if someone opts in between 8 p.m. and 8:59 p.m.

Do they get the message 1 minute later, or do they get it the next day at 8 p.m.?

That is the only condition you have to look at. Decide how you want to handle it, and then set up your conditions and logic to the exact behavior you need.
