My Smart Delay is not working. My intended result is:

  1. Someone comments on my Reel
  2. I send them a message to download an app
  3. I send another message in 10 minutes following up

I’ve connected the reply to the action which connects to the smart delay but that follow up message doesn’t send. Any and all help would be appreciated!

I have the same issue with the smart delay not working.

Sometimes i get this issue and what works best for me is using the sequence even if it’s 10 minutes.

@Jocelin @panda @gervallarta To send another messages except just sharing the links, here’s what you need to do

 

  1. In the first message, don’t share a link and make that button a “Clickable button” and when people click that button - share the same link in the 2nd message.
  2. This will open a door for you to use the smart delay and send another messages after few hrs. 

In the case of sending a link, we are only allowed to perform an action, and sending a follow-up message after the link button is clicked is not allowed by Meta's policy.

However, you can improve your automation by sending the first message with a message button like this:
