Is there any way to prevent yourWhatsapp co-existence from triggering automations for the recipient?

If a team reaches out tp someody through the app. It triggers the default automation and causes confusion.

@CBA basically, no, that’s not possible.

The best alternative that you have is to have your team use Manychat’s Live Chat, or have them pause automations for the user in Manychat before engaging in the conversation.

Hi @CBA What I do to prevent that is to deactivate the “Default Replay”, you can find it in the main menu.

Also your team can manually stop the automations when they go live in the chat by clicking “Pause”.

Hope these tips help.

If i replace the default reply with my own is it possible to limit the triggering to once per 24 hours?

@CBA yes, there’s an option to trigger it every time or once every 24 hours.

Sorry to be demanding. Can you help clarify how/where this option is? I only seem to see it in the default reply automation, but none other seem to show this option in the same place.

Thank you, I realise the confusion, i was asking about for other keyword trigger automations?

I guess it is not possible and i have to use another method?

For keyword triggers you need to build it yourself.

You can do it by tagging the user when they receive the message, then set a delay or rule to remove the tag 24 hours later.

Then, at the beginning of your automation, you put a condition, so you only send the message ig they do not have the tag.

Hope this helps!
