The ManyChat bot's replies are not showing up on the desktop version of WhatsApp Web, but they do appear on our mobile devices.

For the past two days, we've been having problems with our WhatsApp messages and our bot. The ManyChat bot's replies are not showing up on the desktop version of WhatsApp Web, but they do appear on our mobile devices.

The ManyChat bot works and replies to messages, which are recorded in the ManyChat conversation and displayed perfectly on our mobile devices, but they don't appear on the desktop version of WhatsApp Web. When we log out of WhatsApp Web and re-link it using the QR code, the old messages do appear, but the new ones still don't.

Is there a reported bug or issue that could explain this?

      Hi ​@wendap.mkt — I’ve seen this happen before and it’s usually a WhatsApp Web sync/cache issue (not ManyChat), especially since the messages show on mobile and in ManyChat. (It has hapend to me before)

      A few quick things to try:

      • Make sure you’re on the latest WhatsApp Desktop/Web version (update the app or hard refresh the browser).

      • Clear cache / site data for web.whatsapp.com (or log out of all devices), then re-link via QR.

      • If you’re using WhatsApp Desktop, try the browser version (or vice versa) to confirm it’s client-specific.

      If messages show in ManyChat and on mobile, the bot is working. This is almost always a WhatsApp Web sync issue.

      Update WhatsApp Web/Desktop, then log out of all linked devices and reconnect using the QR code. Also clear browser cache or try another browser to rule out a client problem.

      If it continues, check with WhatsApp support since it is likely a desktop sync bug rather than ManyChat.
