TikTok keeps disconnecting

Every day or so I get a message that our TikTok account is disconnected and needs to be refreshed. Is this a normal issue? It is stopping us from making our chat flow work. None of our other accounts(FB or IG) are having this issue. (Yes we have a business account and it appears to work fine when it is refreshed and connected.)

I have the same issue.  Disconnects and sometimes the automations dont completely send.

Same here! Any solution to this. I am new to many chat and it seems like a lot of features they promise don’t actually work. 

I have yet to get any tiktok automation to actually fire + the Instagram follow to auto-DM automation sounds like it broke in December as well. I think it’s time I move on from many chat.

Hi ​@benchar sorry to hear that, should be very inconvenient. 

Probably you can try disabling and reactivating the channel in Manychat:

  • Go to Settings > TikTok (in your Manychat account)
  • Scroll to the bottom and click Disable
  • Then reactivate it by clicking Enable

This temporarily pauses your TikTok channel and automations, then restores them when you reactivate. It keeps all your settings and contacts safe.

Same here. Everyday I get this notification on my Manychat.

Same here. Everyday I’m getting an alert to reconnect to Tiktok. Its really odd. Is it a limitation with Tiktok or a bug with manychat software?

DAILY.
Every. Single. Day.
TikTok disconnects, like clockwork.

And now today, it will not reconnect giving an error… “Grant all permissions to proceed with connecting TikTok”

There’s somethng funky going on with their handshake/API on tiktok.

Hi All, I have checked with  Manychat support team, and It seems you are right, there is an issue with TikTok that makes Manychat platform unable to automatically refresh its permissions daily on some users' accounts, so it requires the user to run this action manually. 

Manychat has already escalated this issue to TikTok technical team, as they are the ones that should solved it. Take into account that this is still a “work in process”, so for  now it does not seems to be a solution yet.

I am having the same issue. Everyday my tiktok disconnects and I have to manually connect it again. Please let us know if there is a solution for this! Thanks!

tik Tok and Instagram disconnect on a daily basis - and often the automations don’t work - this is a major issue as it’s partly working and then not working - has this been fixed?
