I had 2 organic posts that I was using the comment a word to DM automation. It was working fine. I then went into Meta Ads Manager, made a Traffic Objective Ad optimizing for Instagram profile visits using these two existing posts. Now neither automation for those 2 posts work.
Is there a way to resolve this? Thank you.

I think what you’re seeing is expected behavior.
When you turn an organic post into a Traffic objective ad, Meta changes how comments are handled. Traffic ads are optimized for profile visits, not for engagement, so comment-based DM automations stop firing on those posts.
Best practice:
If you want to run ads and trigger automations reliably, use ManyChat’s Instagram Ads Trigger instead of boosting or converting organic posts.
With the Ads Trigger:

My advise: Keep organic posts for organic comment automations, and ads for Ads Triggers. Mixing both on the same post usually causes issues like the one you’re experiencing.
