Trigger an auto response to follower based on an AD

Hope you guys can help me, I have an AD that runs in English and I have it set up for ManyChat to reply to that new follower (the goal of the campaign is traffic/followers). I have an identical AD running in Spanish, however I don’t want the default automation I set up to send them the reply in English.

I’ve read about ManyChat AD automations and I believe they’re only triggered if the user “sends message” from the AD. My goal at this time is to gain followers only, any ideas for how to send those followers a unique message based without them having to press “Send Message”?

To achieve what you are looking for, you can use the Instagram Ads Trigger. This allows you to connect a specific flow directly to your ad.

 

The best approach here is to keep your English and Spanish ads in separate campaigns or ad sets. Once they are separated, you should create two distinct flows in Manychat (one for each language). By using the Instagram Ads Trigger, you can point each specific ad to its corresponding automation.

 

Using this method, the automation starts automatically when the user interacts with the ad, so there is no need for them to type a specific keyword to trigger the message.
