Trigger not working

Hi ​@Elevated femme , sorry to hear its not working, some users are experiencing the same issue and as far as I know ManyChat is working in checking along with Meta team.

In the mean time please also take into account that there are two main reasons FTDM may not trigger:

1. Meta 1 per week limitations: Meta allows only one Follow to DM message per user per week. If a person follows multiple accounts using this feature, they’ll receive a message only from the first account they followed. This rule helps keep the experience safe and free from spam.
2. The follower is already a contact. If someone has messaged a creator before—via an automation (like Comment to DM) or a manual DM—they become a contact. Existing contacts don’t receive FTDM messages by design to avoid awkward or confusing experiences. For example, if someone engages with a comment to DM automation, and then follows the creator, receiving both automations would feel strange.

but I see it working for other just fine. You can follow them as many times and the new follow automation will just work for them.

Hi ​@Elevated femme , in that case a quick fix that often helps is refreshing your Instagram permissions in ManyChat.

You can do this by going to Help → Refresh Permissions in your ManyChat account.

I’m having the same issue and tried all the troubleshooting steps. I’m testing this app as a trial and this is already not working, not a good first impression.

Hi,
I’m now on the pro paying plan after a trial, and my ‘welcome’ to new followers seems to have stopped working. I’ve refreshed permission. I’ve gotten around 30 followers in last couple of days, and not one has recived the automation, so reasons listed above according to Meta seem unlikely.

On top of that, despite being on a Pro plan, I don’t seem to have the ‘get help’ option or any chat/email option.

What am I supposed to do without costomer service, just continue paying for a service that doesn’t work?

Hi ​@mayazack  as far as we know, there is outage right now that is affecting the DM of “Say Hi to New Followers” feature. So the most likely your account stop working due to this issue. Manychat is working with Meta team to solve it. You can track the development in the Manychat Status page: https://status.manychat.com/

Is there still no progress? Meanwhile I’m paying for this service yet having to do everything manually. Not good.
