Hi! I have several automations set to send info if someone comments with the word “plan” or “plans” but it’s sending people who comment “plant”. How do I fix that?

Hi, @CYG!

The “Comment Reply” trigger will always start any word CONTAINS your keyword. 🫠🙃

But in your case, you can exclude "t” from the keywords. This will ignore “plant”, because it contains excluded keywords:

I don’t have that feature on my site :( I even tried to create a new automation to see if I could set it up without the T and I still don’t have it...

I see… you’re probably using the “Quick Automation” for DM from Comments:

This type of automation doesn’t have this “feature”:

You must use the classic flow builder to get this trigger options. There’s a template for that, or you can start an automation from scratch (Start with a blak):

Hope this helps!!

I’m facing the same issue. Eg: I had kept “RAT” as my keyword.  So when someone commented “Pratap is doing a good job”, its still sending the DM because RAT is is present in the name pRATap.

How to fix this? What exclusion should i use?

Hi, @krs369! Same way as described above. 😉

Just exclude “p” in your keywords and it will work as expected.

Is there an option where I just keep RAT as a trigger? no other words with it?

Because multiple of my comments are being triggered because of this.
