Hi this is from the Unsubscribe from Bot automation on whatsapp.

 

1) is it possible to have quick replies on whatsapp???

2) why START is not showed in the chat on whatsapp? if user doesn't no will never reply START

3) is it possibile to add more quick reply? for what make sense?

4) what means "if contact hasn’t engaged"?

5) what next step can be chosen? What make sense?

I suppose this flow is kind of “broken”. 🫠

I faced the same problem/ questioning a time ago and just updated it in a way it “works”…

The “quick reply” doesn't even appear to click or interact (WhatsApp has nothing similar to quick replies, just buttons) and that options in your images also don't work. Once you change something there and update the automation, it simply disappears. 😅 - AND you must connect something to that “ghost quick reply.

Therefore, I came up with this weird thing:

  • I can't delete the quick reply, so I kept it as is.
  • Added a Button to “comeback”.
  • Connected it to a comeback message.

This way, if someone opts-out and taps the button, it will start a new conversation and opt the contact in once again.
