Hello Manychat team,

Please escalate support ticket #548832 to the WhatsApp/Billing technical team. Our production WhatsApp number cannot be onboarded to a new official coexistence provider because an orphaned Manychat association remains in Meta's backend.

Current state:
- The WhatsApp channel is already deactivated in Manychat and Manychat only shows the Connect button.
- Manychat has been removed as a connected app and partner in Meta.
- Meta shows zero visible partners on the WABA.
- Meta Billing Hub still shows “Allocated from: Manychat” with status “Access removed.”
- In the WhatsApp Business app, Settings > Account > Business Platform shows no current partner and no Disconnect option; it only offers the QR connection screen.
- Meta Embedded Signup returns error #2655093 saying the WhatsApp Business account is already shared with a partner.
- WhatsApp Support ticket #939551469170005 has already been transferred to their specialized team.

The standard UI removal steps have been completed and the required delete/disconnect controls are unavailable.

Required backend action from Manychat:
1. Release the customer WABA.
2. Unsubscribe/remove the Manychat app from the WhatsApp Business Account.
3. Remove the stale credit-line allocation and any remaining BSP/partner relationship.
4. Confirm when the WABA and phone number are fully released for onboarding to another provider.

The full WABA ID, Phone Number ID and screenshots are already included in ticket #548832 and can be provided privately to a moderator.

@cata_rendon @Fabio Gaulke — could you please help escalate ticket #548832? This is blocking our production WhatsApp onboarding.

Thank you.

 Hey, @clubbyd
Didn’t saw your post before, because my user mention didn’t get linked in your text… 😅

You can try a technical workaround that usually resolves this type of residual link in Meta without losing any of your data:

  1. Download the standard (personal) WhatsApp app on a mobile device.

  2. Transfer and connect your production phone number to this personal WhatsApp app (no need to transfer the messages/ data/ backup).

  3. After that, go back to your current WhatsApp Business app and reconnect your number to it.

This process of transitioning from WhatsApp Business to standard WhatsApp and then back to WhatsApp Business usually forces the removal of any partner association or credit line link stuck in Meta's backend, and you won't lose anything when reconnecting to the WhatsApp Business app. 🙌

Hope this helps!
