Urgent IG Automation Issue — Has Anyone Faced This?

Hi ManyChat Support,

As of May 24, 2025, all my automations have suddenly stopped working. I've checked the status page, and it shows all systems operational, but the issue persists. I've also tried basic troubleshooting steps like refreshing permissions and checking for unattached steps.

Is there a known issue or any guidance you can provide to resolve this?

I’m in the EXACT same position!

When you did this, did it delete all your contacts: 

• Disabled/re-enabled the Instagram and Facebook channels inside ManyChat?

Thank you ​@vardaan ! I submitted a ticket too but I saw they can get old AND they said they’ll be slower than usual bc of a team retreat. My contacts are all there, did you lose yours!? Oof!

All my automations stopped working suddenly. I've refreshed the connection and still nothing. Lots of people are commenting on my posts and are not getting a DM. How can I fix this?

I’m having the same issue on one of my accounts since mid-day yesterday. I’ve done everything possible to troubleshoot, checked all settings and some (like you) I even re-enabled to play it safe. FB Messenger is working just fine.

I submitted a ticket yesterday afternoon and got a reply within a few hours telling me to do all the steps that I had already done - and mentioned them on my ticket. I replied away and I haven’t heard back from support yet.

Let’s keep each other updated on the progress.

Hi everyone,

All of my automations (both old and new) suddenly stopped working. They are all published and have the correct triggers. Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

✅ Verified that all automations are live and correctly set up
✅ Checked triggers, sequences, and keywords – all correct
✅ Reconnected the Facebook/Instagram channel in ManyChat
✅ Verified that ManyChat appears under Business Integrations on Facebook, with active access
✅ Cleared browser cache and tested in incognito mode
✅ Checked the Meta Platform Status for potential API issues

Despite these steps, none of the automations are firing. I don’t see any error messages in ManyChat either.

Could anyone point me in the right direction or share what else I could check? Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

olá pessoal, estou enfrentando o mesmo problema. Tenho algumas automações que funcionam para alguns usuários, e para outros usuários as automações não funcionam. é como se eles selecionassem as automações por usuários que ativam.

my auto responder in the comments is not working either. it worked at one point but it no longer replies to comments.  i have turned it off and back on and even tried editing the reply comment and updated it and it still does not work. please help.

Hello, I know there was an  issue with the API  yesterday but is it still down? I’m on the free plan and it was working a few days ago. I have two automations. Maybe I am using too many keywords for the free plan?

The issue with the Instagram API has not been resolved yet. You can monitor the updates on this status page and even subscribe to receive email notifications whenever there are any changes:

Regarding the limits of the free plan, it allows up to 3 keyword triggers, so you are within the allowed limit.

Now connected successfully and still don't work the automation 🙂 please check my id correct me where I made a mistake it works 2 days properly and then suddenly this happens
