Hi ManyChat team and community,

I’m Felipe from Social Lab Creative. I’m currently trying to connect the official Instagram account @clubesmartshoot to our ManyChat workspace, but I’m constantly getting the message:

“This Instagram account is already connected to another workspace.”

Over the past week, I’ve taken all necessary steps to remove the previous connection:

✅ Removed the ManyChat integration from Meta Business Suite
✅ Removed the app from Instagram’s authorized apps
✅ Revoked permissions from Facebook Business Settings
✅ Cleared caches, tried different browsers and devices
✅ Created two support tickets (#356460 and #357340) — no replies after 5 days
✅ Tried email contact and support chat, but the conversation closes automatically with no agent response

We urgently need to connect this IG account to launch automated DMs tied to a campaign with paid traffic, and we’re blocked from executing critical flows.

This is the ONLY official Instagram account used by our brand and there is no reason for it to remain locked, as all prior permissions have been cleared.

Please escalate this issue or assist in disconnecting the Instagram account @clubesmartshoot from the old workspace, so we can use it properly in the correct one.

If needed, I can verify ownership and access via Meta Business or Facebook.

Thank you for your time and support — I really hope someone from @ManyChat_Team can help unlock this urgently.

Hi Felipe 👋

That sounds frustrating, especially with a campaign deadline approaching. Since you've already tried all the necessary steps (revoking access, clearing caches, removing the app, etc.), here are a few suggestions that might help:

✅ Double-check Facebook Page Roles: Make sure the IG account is linked to a Facebook Page that you have full admin access to (not just moderator or editor). Sometimes limited access can cause integration issues.

✅ Check Meta Business Settings > Instagram Accounts: Ensure the IG account is fully removed from all business assets under “Instagram Accounts” (and not just from the app integrations).

✅ Try Connecting via a New Workspace: If possible, create a fresh ManyChat workspace under the same Meta account and try connecting it. Sometimes it's an issue with a corrupted workspace connection.
✅ Wait 48-72 hours after full removal: Sometimes Meta takes time to fully release permissions behind the scenes even after manual removal. If you just removed everything, wait 2-3 days before trying again.

Hope this helps get your IG account connected.
