URGENT | The Instagram Manychat Comment Trigger Isn't Working on post

Checked ManyChat's status page, no currently active comment-trigger incident, but there's an ongoing Instagram webhook delivery issue (investigating since Oct 2025) and Meta's IG API is running at ~70% uptime, which could cause intermittent triggers.

Things to try on your side:

1. Help → Refresh Permissions in ManyChat

2. On Instagram: Settings → Privacy → Messages → Connected tools → "Allow access to messages" is on

3. Insert an Instagram Opt-In action right after the comment trigger

4. DM keyword triggers are unaffected, so adding one as a fallback can catch the missed ones

Can you share if your post are getting too much comments (going viral)? If so, Manychat has a mechanism that stop reply to comments on your post to prevent spam alerts on Meta end.

Hi there, the “Insteagram Setting → Allow Access to messages”  is outdated on my end, i’m not finding this on instagram. Curently its set to allow all messages. 

Im not sure how to insert and instagram opt-in action right after the comment trigger, can you explain this more.

Já fiz o passo a passo sugerido acima de atualizar permissões e não resolveu.

The same just happened to me right now. At least it is sending the link via DM, but it is not replying with "Check your DMs" on the post itself

Same issue here since yesterday (April 24). Comment trigger automation on Instagram — DM is delivered correctly, but Public Replies on the post are inconsistent: maybe 50% of commenters get the public reply, the rest only get the DM with no visible reply on the post.

Setup:
- Pro plan
- Trigger: keyword on Post/Reel Comments
- Public Replies: 3 variants, "Yes, random multiple replies" enabled
- Flow works end-to-end (Condition → Add Tag → Send Message all firing correctly)
- Account is Professional, Handover Protocol set to Manychat as primary
- Already refreshed permissions, no change

Confirming what ​@Phetru reported: DM goes through, public reply on the post doesn't. Same exact behavior.

This is not the high-volume rate-limiting case — my account is not going viral, volume is normal.

​@rodrigo_silvano Manychat team — can someone from Manychat officially confirm whether this is being tracked as an incident? Multiple users across different regions reporting the same issue in the last 24-48h (US, Brazil, and now me from Spain). Worth adding to the status page if it's not there already.
