Hi everyone,

we’re having a tricky issue with our WhatsApp Business setup via Manychat and hope someone from the community can help:

 

  • Our WhatsApp display name “Fresh Hotspot” was rejected by Meta.

  • At the same time, we submitted a Facebook Page name change from “Freshvenience Hotspots” to “Fresh Hotspot”, which has now been approved.

  • So now, everything is aligned: our brand, our page (Fresh Hotspot), our website (https://fresh-hotspot.at) – but WhatsApp still shows the old name rejection.

 

Here’s the problem:

 

  • We connected the number via Manychat and can’t edit the name in Meta Business Manager.

  • Meta Support says: the name was rejected by WhatsApp.

  • WhatsApp Support says: they can’t change it and refer us back to Meta.

 

So we’re stuck in a loop. 😩

 

➡️ Question: How can we resubmit the display name “Fresh Hotspot” for review in Manychat or Meta?

➡️ Or how can we change the display name without disconnecting the number?

 

Any help or similar experience would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

try this way: Fresh Hotspot by NAME OF MY COMPANY

  1. I agree: not nice
  2. try to keep by NAME OF MY COMPANY as short as possible
  3. In my case worked, I got crazy for months
  4. maybe after a while/after u spent some amount of money, you can change it

Meta makes a lot of us crazy with its “naming policies”. 🤯

​@Mcaldarini gave a good tip and, basically, adding extra words to you company name tends to work.

 

In some cases, I try something like:

  • Team Fresh Hotspot
  • We are Fresh Hotspot
  • Talk to Fresh Hotspot
  • Fresh Hotspot Updates

 

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do other than this 🫠
