Good morning,

I’m experiencing a strange issue with Instagram integration in ManyChat. I have multiple accounts in ManyChat, and I’ve never encountered this problem before. However, while configuring a customer’s account, I noticed that the default reply on Instagram isn’t working.

Here’s the situation:

  • I’ve already connected the Instagram account and Messenger.
  • I’ve built other automations that work perfectly, including:
    1. Automatically replying to Instagram comments and sending private messages as a reply to those comments.
    2. Default replies to messages on Facebook.
    3. Replying to Facebook comments and sending private messages as replies.
    4. Conversation starters on Facebook.

Everything works fine except for the default reply on Instagram. When I set it up, the configuration seems correct:

  • The trigger is set.
  • There’s an action to send a message.

However, when I test it by sending messages from a different account, nothing happens. What’s more, the messages don’t even appear in the ManyChat inbox (from Instagram)

I’ve used the same configuration steps on other accounts, and it always works without any issues.

Does anyone have any ideas about what might be causing this?
