WhatsApp Business App Won't Connect

Just signed up for a ManyChat account and I am trying to setup the beta WhatsApp Business App with Coexistence via my existing WhatsApp Business number (+1 country code). It keeps cycling between scanning the QR code and putting in the access code while also asking me about the chat history each time. I have the latest app (v 2.25.36.75) and when I’m putting in the access code, it is correct. It also scans the QR code.

Initially, it would not scan the QR. So, I opted to put the access code. That’s when it began cycling between the two. I stopped the process, refreshed, and tried it again. This time, it automatically scanned the QR, but then started cycling back to the scan QR screen. After a few attempts, it changed to putting in the access code. During both attempts periods, it resent the “get started” WhatsApp Business message to me too. 

Any suggestions on getting this setup? I was looking forward to trying ManyChat.
