Hi everyone, I need help with a WhatsApp number issue.

My phone number is connected to Manychat via WhatsApp API, but it seems to be linked to a Meta Business Manager account I no longer have access to.

I want to release the number and connect it to a different automation, but I can't remove it from the Meta account myself.

Has anyone dealt with this before?
Is there a way to disconnect the number without access to the original Meta Business Manager?

Unfortunately, you need to have admin access to be able to remove that WhatsApp number.

Try to contact Meta support team to see how you can get access to be able to remove it.

 

If you can’t do that, your best shot is buying another number and connect it to the new Meta account.
