From my understanding, you can only get the JSON code to connect to the FB ads if you select the “user clicks on facebook ad” trigger. However, when I try to activate it, I get an error message like in the first image. But I’m confused because nothing in my initial message has those variables (see 2nd screenshot).

You shouldn’t use the JSON option, instead use “partner app” for ads.
