Why does the DM to Follow automation not work?

Hello!

I’m new to Manychat and I’m on the free plan. I’m trying to test out the DM to Follow automation via my account (Business account) and I created a new account and followed my original account to test the automation and it does not work. I’ve made 4-5 accounts already and none of them seem to set off the automation. I tried to ask the AI assistant and so far, I have

  1. Allowed access to messages on my business account (I can now see all messages on my IG via manychat and I can send messages via manychat as DMs)
  2. Refreshed my permissions on Manychat

but to no avail. What am I missing?

        Same here, its absolutely terrible in doing this well.

        It did for like a month after launch, now its terrible.

        Will cancel subscripition because its a big deal for me.

        Tested all things like: Refresh Permission, Change Settings on IG, Check for Shadow ban, etc.
        Nothing works
