Ive seen some Youtubers use Cody.  Whats wrong with the build in Manychat AI instead?

Hey @SSTrey so let’s start with the obvious: just because it’s on YouTube it doesn’t mean that it’s the best solution… :D

Having said that, Manychat’s AI currently has some limitations, and if you want more control or are a power user, you’ll probably feel that Manychat AI won’t get the job done.

So you need alternative solutions.

Luckily, Manychat is extremely flexible and easy to integrate with other tools!

Integrating with Cody is an option!

You can also do it with Make.com, n8n, Replit, etc etc (the possibilities are endless).

Alternatively, you can use Manychat + OpenAI directly (which is my preferred solution that I use with all my clients).

With custom builds you have much more control of what you can do and how to treat your logic.

For example, my AI bots in Manychat reply with JSON code, and I use that to set user fields and run extra logic in Manychat (so they can, for example, reply and keep the conversation going, give me a conversation status, parse information such as email, phone, address, etc - all at once with a single AI call). With this I trigger different Manychat automations, and I can also keep a unified memory for the user’s conversation throughout the entire funnel.

All the things I mention on my example would not be possible with Manychat AI.

And that’s the reason to use Cody (or any other custom integration for that matter) instead of Manychat AI.

Hope this helps!!

Thanks a mil for the response, makes sense.  Appreciate this.
