We’re aware of an issue where webhooks are not being delivered for some Instagram accounts. This may cause automations to fail to trigger or stop when a button is clicked. The issue has been reported to Meta, and we’re monitoring it while awaiting their response.
We’ll share updates here as soon as more information is available. Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for this update acknowledging the problem. An email would’ve been really helpful. If you check the other board Q&A, you can see several of us have been talking about this for days and no one from the Manychat team has acknowledged it over there so we were not sure if anyone was aware of the problem. This message seems tucked away on a hard to find message board. Either an email communication or something more clear and easy to find would be super helpful so that we all aren’t spending our time trying to fix it on our end only realize it’s a system wide issue. Thank you so much for the updates on this.
@Roman Raizink is the below that I posted the same issue you are referring to?
Instagram ads are no longer clicking into the bot flow directly from ads. Even with all the correct settings and partner app flows chosen.
Meta has stopped the lead with a pop up screen which causes most of the leads to bail. This is costing everyone a lot of money. The IG ads used to be a single tap redirect from the ad to the flow. Now Meta is presenting the user with this:
Most at this point leave the ad bc they don’t know what to do.
Very few will tap on ‘message streampremiere’ which actually takes them to the bot flow.
Anyone left could send a message in the blank box which also doesn’t send them to their message they just sent. It gives them a fast pop up at the bottom of their screen to view what they just sent. At that point I have to then try to prompt them with a keyword to get into the bot flow. Most don’t respond and try.
All of these choices totally defeat the purpose of these efforts we are making and end up discouraging leads from completing the task. They don’t know what to do with that pop up from Meta. Having a single click from the ad to the flow before is the only way these leads will work.
PLEASE someone from ManyChat help make the ads click to the flow again without this confusing interference from Meta.
