Here’s a quick rundown of what you can do with TikTok (beta) on Manychat:

Beta features:

• Available triggers: currently, the only way you can trigger an automation for TikTok is whenever someone sends you a direct message (DM). You can:
  • Set up specific keywords to trigger an automation
  • Configure default replies from Settings
  • Coming next: being able to trigger automations from comments
     
• Available content blocks in messages:
  • Text: add text to your messages
    • Coming soon: adding buttons/sharing links
  • Images
    • Images can be sent everywhere except USA
  • Delays to control the timing between your messages
  • Data collection to gather details like phone numbers and email addresses directly through DMs
  • System fields, custom fields and bot fields
    • Coming soon: field to check if someone is a follower
• Available automation steps
  • AI Steps
  • Conditions
  • Actions
  • Smart Delays
  • Randomizer

 Pro tip: you can replicate your current automations for TikTok by using the “Convert Channels” feature. Once you have replicated it, all you need to do is change the trigger.

As of right now there is no way to send people to a link. But we are hard at work developing that with TIkTok, I cannot promise you any dates, but we expect it soon, keep an eye in the community here, we'll post new features as they arise. 

Would you be open to sharing a bit more about how you’d like to use links in your automation? Understanding your specific needs would be incredibly helpful for us as we work to build features that support your goals. I completely agree that this could be a valuable addition!

I’m looking to do the same, link people to my website when they comment a key word. I love the feature on instagram where I can showcase a recipe, but instead of having to write the whole recipe down in the post or reel, I just have them comment a key word, and send the recipe link directly to them for my website. This has brought not only tons of engagement, but has increased views on my website, which is what my end goal is. When you get that feature up and running, let us know.

This was very helpful. I want to be able to automatically respond to a comment in the post that will automatically send a link to the responders DM. Most people have private accounts so it’s impossible to get through to DMs otherwise. ManyChat has been an incredible help on Instagram by doing it. I am really hoping to do it on TikTok. So as of now the prompt is to DM me a keyword and then set up a default with a link? Is there a limit to how many default key word set ups I can do? I thank you for your help!

As per your question, you can set up as many keywords as you like, depending on how many campaigns you want to run with them :)
