Hello, I have 3000+ DMS from old conversations, I filtered those contacts by “last interaction” more than 60 days.
Created a sequence with a trigger to start the sequence when a Tag is added to a contact
and another trigger when contacts added to the sequence.
I have done the set up but the sequence does not start (is already live) I don’t see messages being sent to those contacts.

Your setup isn't the problem, this is Meta's messaging window blocking it. On Instagram and Facebook you can only proactively message someone within 24 hours of  their last interaction (7 days for manual inbox replies, but automations stop after 24h). Your contacts are 60+ days inactive, so they're way outside that window, and ManyChat silently blocks those sends to avoid breaking Meta's rules. That's why the sequence is live but nothing goes out, it's policy enforcement, not a broken trigger.

The only Meta-sanctioned way to reach people outside the window is an opt-in recurring notification/list, and that only works if those contacts explicitly subscribed to it beforehand. People who just DM'd you once never opted in, so that path isn't open for them, and Meta has been winding those outside-window options down further this year anyway.

So bulk re-engaging 3000 cold IG/FB contacts isn't really doable within Meta's rules on any tool, it's not a ManyChat limitation. Realistic options: you can only message them again once THEY reopen the window by messaging you, or move re-engagement to a channel built for opt-in outreach, email, or WhatsApp with approved template messages  (which can message outside the window, but still needs their opt-in).
