Hey everyone!
Wondering if anyone has run into this issue as well? The Manychat Team said if this post gains enough traction the product team will investigate and take action:
Our Manychat overage limit was hit overnight whilst one of our posts went viral, and we weren't able to rectify the issue in time. Over 300 comments received no reply, which represented significant leads for our business. I had to manually respond to them which took over 2hrs. Many of those leads may no longer act, as the moment was lost. Our strategy was based on ManyChat working.
I know ManyChat is very prompt in sending reminders when our limits are about to be hit via email, but we had no idea this post would go viral, so we didn't think we'd need to upgrade.
It would have been great to have the automation working (using overages) whilst we sorted out upgrading. For example, removing the overages limit, so we could continue being charged and the automation could continue working. Alternatively, some kind of major alert (rather than an email) would ensure we have no option other than to a) upgrade or b) have the automation turned off.
Having the automation turned off during a viral moment could have cost us significant business. If you can relate to this issue and would like to see some change, please engage with this post!
