Hi there, this is Matthew. I’d like to submit a feature request for ManyChat regarding data privacy. Currently, ManyChat does not support encrypted customer data. For instance, we can view the full Telegram username or WhatsApp number directly in ManyChat, which poses a security concern for our company.
Would it be possible to develop a feature that allows customer data to be partially encrypted? Here’s an example: if a customer’s phone number is 60123456789, enabling this privacy feature would allow employees to see the number as 6012xxxx789. Similarly, the Telegram username would be partially masked.
I believe this feature is essential, as several similar platforms in the market already offer this level of data protection. I’ve continued using ManyChat because of its excellent UX and overall quality, and this addition would make it even better.
