I love the Manychat’s automation of being able to send users a message when they comment on your post. But if the goal is to use the post to collect a user’s email, the process is too clunky. Currently, the user would have to comment on the post (which is great to help with Instagram’s algorithm), but then they would receive a message prompting them to click a button about entering their email (i.e. “enter email”). The user would then have to click that button, receive ANOTHER message asking for them to reply with their email, and then they would reply their email in yet another message. This process works, but it’s clunky and involves too many steps for the user, which likely results in less conversion.
If we could remove one step in this process so that it’s not 3 actions from the user, the user would be more likely to convert.
