If customer click on a link, wich starts a flow on another platform → the data could be provided with a custom link.
If I could choose then to merge contact automaticly <3
I really need merged contacts for my flows, is important for me to not share the same information on more channels.

I would like to have this feature as well.
My use case:
I send Instagram leads to an external calendar including the Manychat contactID as hidden parameter.
When they book an appointment, I create a WhatsApp contact via API and have the Instagram contactID saved to a user field. I also have phone and email set and transfer the data to the Instagram account and now I would like to merge the two Manychat contacts into one automatically.
But unfortunately there is no option to do so. Neither in the chat actions nor in the API. Updating or creating a contact via API replies: “contact already exists”.
