Hey @Martin I have Assistants API integrated with ManyChat.

It’s a lot of steps, but with the template you can set it up in literally 5 minutes.

Happy to chat and go into the details if you want ;)

What engine do you use? 3.5?

I have my own set up using FineTuner which works well . I also avoid the external request timeout issue. Let’s chat to see how your solution is different.

Yeap, the one compatible with Retrieval

GPT 3.5 works great 98% of the time.

I try to only use GPT4 when extremely necessary to avoid the higher costs.

Hi @Gustavo Boregio

Cool. Your post deserves a closer look to dig into.

If I shall need assistance, could you give me a hand?

Jhony

@land think of assistants as ChatGPT, but with your own data that you use to train your AI.

So imagine a company that has a 100-page (or more!) knowledge base. I can train an Assistant with that information, and connect it to Manychat.

@Mr Mie  To use OpenAI's "Assistants", the only available method is through external API requests. It’s a complex process that involves managing incoming messages, creating threads, adding messages to those threads, executing the run, and checking the status — it’s quite an advanced setup.

@Gustavo Boregio  offers a paid model at the link below, which could be a helpful alternative:

For simpler flows, you might consider using the native integration with ChatGPT or Manychat’s own AI.
