4 Ways To Improve User ExperienceWe all know that one of the most attractive functions of a chatbot is to provide us with transactional conversations, both faster than email and with more people than phone calls. When the number of sales goes up and the time it takes us to make them goes down, everyone is happy, and that’s why chatbots are here to stay. However, a chatbot built solely to be transactional can leave plenty of money on the table, mostly in the the lifetime value of a customer. I know we all love our perfectly crafted conversations we’ve been creating with ManyChat for a while now.And we all also love the flexibility of AI, and would love to have an AI bot that’s perfectly on brand, can understand user intentions and at the same time use our perfect conversations to get our customers over the line.Achieving this AI can be quite a challenge though.One way I’ve been using ManyChat + ChatGPT/OpenAI is with a hybrid approach:I use ChatGPT to read what the user entered and interpret that better than any keyword could have done. Then we use ManyChat conditions to direct the customer to the right path in our ManyChat bot. We just recently started making chat funnels for our clients using Manychat and it has been an absolute game changer with our click through rates. It's pretty insane actually! We're seeing it at least an 85% conversion rate and significant gains in purchases. I would love to start a thread about best practices and cool things everyone is doing with Restaurants and ManyChat. I recently took on a Restaurant Group with 5 concepts and locations across many states. We are doing builds slightly different for each concept but overall I do have a core structure for my builds which include: Welcome message/quick start menu Return menu flow (So when they come back they are greeted differently) Info Capture: I like to capture email first followed by RN opt in then phone if needed by client. Giving the user a choice along the way. Generally we give a free appetizer or dessert after they sign up. Restaurant Info can include: Mobile Friendly Menu, Reservations (generally connected to Open Table), Hours, Location, call button.I do other things but this is the core.
