Good morning everyone, I need your help. I want to disable the ManyChat AI Assistant, but I don’t want to turn off AI completely because I use it inside my flows as specific instruction blocks.What I do want is to stop the Global AI from replying out of context and confusing customers — it’s ruining my automation by pulling users out of the flow. I only want AI responses when there’s an AI block inside my automation.I’ve also configured it so that after each response, it should show the menu options again, but when the Global AI takes over, it ignores the flow and breaks the sequence, costing me a lot of sales.Could you please tell me how to disable it? I tried turning off the AI package, and while it stopped responding in the wrong way, I also couldn’t update my automations because it seems that package is required for using AI blocks too.I really need your help — I’ve searched everywhere and I can’t figure out what to do.

I am trying to use Manychat for work, we often schedule a month’s worth of Instagram posts at a time, is there any way to apply Manychat to say the third post to be posted or can I only apply it to the ‘next’ post and existing posts?

Hi Manychat team / community,I need help from a human to reclaim access or at least detach my Instagram from an old ManyChat workspace.Context My original Facebook profile (the one I used to log in to ManyChat and create the workspace) was disabled by Facebook. Since then I cannot log in to that ManyChat account/workspace. I created a new Facebook profile (now admin of my Business Manager, Facebook Page, and Instagram account) and tried to connect Instagram to a new ManyChat workspace. What happens On the Connect Instagram screen, ManyChat shows: “already connected to [account name] … Switch Account / Request access.” The Request access button turns into “Request Sent” and never resolves, so I can’t proceed. In Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations, I see ManyChat is active for my new Facebook profile, but Instagram still won’t connect in ManyChat. This has been going on for ~2 months. Hello everybody!Ive got an AI automation connected to my IG acc with the sole intent of promoting my exclusive Fanvue page (im running an ai model/influencer).However as of the moment ive gotta manually assign the ai chatbot to interact with the IG DM/contact it does not happen automatically. Hi there! I want to use the automation where a user comments a keyword on a post or reel, and manychat sends them a direct message on instagram. However many of the accounts that follow me are private and so i cant direct message them until they direct message me. Can manychat get around that limitations and send a direct message regardless? 

Hi everyone, I’m facing a serious issue with my Instagram account and I’d love some help or insights from the community. Whenever someone tries to follow me, a pop-up appears saying “Beware of potential scams” and shows my account creation date with a confirmation button. My account is old, active, and I post regularly. It’s verified on Meta with my ID — so this warning makes my account look suspicious even though my activity is 100% authentic. Since it started, my daily follower count dropped from 100+ per day to barely 10 😩 I’ve already contacted Instagram support. They told me to reinstall the app, but that didn’t fix anything. The only thing I can think of is that I use Manychat (a Meta partner) to send automated messages when people comment on my posts asking for free resources. It works really well — people engage a lot — but I’m wondering if this automation could have triggered the warning. Has anyone here experienced the same issue or found a fix?Any help or advice would be hu

Some chats are ending before the 24-hour window, which should be the time we can communicate with the customer.The bot sent the automation, had a 3-hour smart delay, and automatically closed the conversation because it realized there was no interaction.After the smart delay, it should have applied a previously scheduled recovery flow (for some customers, it applied it normally).But for most, it didn't apply the recovery flow after 3 hours and automatically closed the conversation, making it impossible for me to communicate with the customer without paying again for sending the message.Did I configure something wrong, or is this an application error?

Hoping someone can offer some insite or steer me in the right direction. I recently became meta verified and about 3 days ago, Instagram had this major glitch where it would not let me in. I was stuck in a loop where it would say it sent me a code via sms to login, but never would. It finally just started working again, but my many chat/insta connection is majorly broken. The many chat app says it’s connected, but wouldn’t load any posts for automation. When I tried to refresh permissions or connect through browser, nothing happened. It would open Instagram on my main feed, but not actually refresh. I contacted Meta support, they ended up having me remove manychat completely from Instagram and trying to reconnect. After doing that and trying to re-add the channel, manychat now says  profile not found/doesnt exist with a little blurb about the link being broken.” Once I reported this to them, they are saying “not on us, contact manychat.”  Sooooo…. Here I am, asking for anyone to please

How are you guys?Well, I think I did it right, but..I set up the same flow as this one in order to establish an IF FOLLOWING CONDITION, where the “free content” will be sent only if the user is following the account. The thing is that once running it identified some users as non-followers when they were followers actually. So, am I doing something wrong? Could be a bug?Thanks

Hi everyone,I'm trying to better understand how ManyChat counts contacts and how to manage my contact limit more effectively. I have a few questions: 1. How exactly are contacts counted? I deleted all my contacts and disabled all my flows, but I'm still seeing new contacts being added to my count whenever someone messages me on Facebook. Is this expected behavior? Does ManyChat automatically count anyone who sends a DM, even without active automations? 2. Contact cleanup automation: Is there a way to set up automatic rules or filters that periodically remove contacts who haven't engaged in X days? Or do I need to manually delete inactive contacts regularly? I'm trying to stay on the free plan while keeping my list clean and engaged, so any tips or clarification would be really helpful!Thanks in advance!

Hi, community. We’re having a weird problem: we have a keyword trigger for IG comments, “loyalty,” and it’s set for all comments on all posts. It’s working “sometimes,” but it’s also not firing for some people.I have not yet been able to spot a pattern here. This is an automation that’s been running smoothly for a few weeks at least. It successfully ran for the most recent comment, and it worked for me when I tested with my test account.I don’t see any common characteristic of the people it’s not working for. Some are triggering for the first time, others have been through this automation before on other posts.We have had 17 comments that should have triggered IG messenger responses over the past week. 12 have worked, 5 have not. And as I said, there is no obvious pattern.Appreciate any guidance. For this platform to be a part of our SM marketing, we need to know it’s working reliably!Thanks…Chris

Hello, As can be seen above, I have a Messenger Automation live that has “0” Runs. Users are commenting the correct Keywords and are receiving the auto-reply comment but are not receiving the DM in Messenger. This has happened for several of my previous Automations with the same set up. This has only started happening in the last few weeks. Prior to this, the same set up was working fine. Any idea what might be causing this issue? Some things that may be useful to know: I refreshed permissions for FB after this went live but it didn’t have an effect. Instagram Automations of the same type are working fine without issue. I do delete my all my contacts on a regular basis.After refreshing my permissions I now have the below error message pop up but sure if relevant. I tried to address this following the instructions but was unable to do so. “Your Facebook Conversions API (CAPI) integration has been disconnected. To keep your data flowing, please reconnect it manually.”Thanks a million :)A

I’m trying to set up an automated DM based on a comment on a post. Seems like this should be straightforward, but it doesn’t seem to work. I started this using the Auto-DM links from comments card on the homepage. I’ve set the automation to reply to a comment whenever someone comments Love. Then, it should send them an opening DM, ask for their email, and send them a link to a PDF. When I comment Love on the post though I don’t get a reply on the comment. I do get the opening DM, but when I click the send me the link button it seems to refresh the page, but doesn’t follow-up with the subsequent message that asks for my email address. I’ve tested setting this up on a number of different posts and also having it work on all posts or reels and I get the same issue. I’ve also gone through steps the AI chatbot gave me to ensure that permissions are set up correctly and refreshed permissions. I’d appreciate any help folks can offer. Yesterday, I had an issue with WhatsApp integration it was working and i got banned from Meta, but solved that through ticket with Meta directly. See thread:But today after Meta removed my ban, I linked my WhatsApp to ManyChat again and I can use whatsapp through Live chat but automations are not working. I have this banner displaying on my account of ManyChat. How can I fix this?

Hey everyone, long time MC user and looking for some feedback for our development of a physical product solution / integration with Shopify and Manychat.We rely on MC heavily and love its simplicity, but the ecommerce side of things (and not having it) is taking it’s toll. Instead of leaving, we’re building for it! One important thing I forgot to mention in the video is after serving the physical products, we can hop right back into another MC flow. Question is, is this viable? Would anyone use it? Appreciate it ahead of time!  

Hi!I’m new to this and I want to set up a giveaway automation. I used the preset Giveaway option and the condition set to make sure nobody can enter twice seems wrong to me. Once someone confirm their entry, They get tagged “started_giveaway”.So to me on the condition module it should be set to TAG is NOT “started_giveaway” so new entrants would go the green way YES and people who are tagged with “started_giveaway” would be NO and get a different message.The preset as shown below seems wrong to me. What am I misunderstanding?

Hi, we have a problem with our account becouse the “account status” in our Whatsapp page on manychat panel is still “Pending” after about 2 weeks.On Meta, our Business account is under restriction but the only thing that we do was to do the onboarding of a new number from manychat.How can we manage to resolve this problem and finally start to use our number?Thanks a lot!

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing an issue with the Gallery block in ManyChat on Instagram DM. In the flow preview inside ManyChat, everything looks correct: I can see two cards side by side in the gallery. However, when I test it on my own phone (Instagram DM), only the first card is visible. The second card never appears, and there is no swipe option. What I’ve already tried: Made sure both cards are inside the same Gallery block. Each card has a title, subtitle, image, and at least one button. Reduced the text length in titles and descriptions to avoid character limits. Used images with the recommended size (square 1080×1080). Tested with different links (shorter links as well). Refreshed permissions between Instagram and ManyChat. Checked Instagram account type (it is set as a Business account). But the problem persists: Preview shows 2 cards, Instagram DM only shows 1 card.Has anyone else run into this? Is this a known limitation of Instagram DM? Do I need to change any
