Pause Automations when there's a response through MetaNew

It’d be great to be able to pause the automation when there’s a human response from the app.This is particularly important for WhatsApp Business app with Coexistence.When the person with the phone replies, we need a way to automatically stop or pause the automations for that particular contact.It’d also be great to have this feature for Instagram and Messenger.

Similar to Klaviyo and other services it would really help to have a dynamic contact sync to a Meta Ads audience.This would allow the creation of look-a-like audiences to improve ad performance. Managing a Zapier connection which just crashes all the time is not a viable option. Ad tech integrations should be basic features.

GDPR Compliance: Enabling Data Minimisation by Limiting Default Data Collection in ManyChatNew

Under Article 5(1)(c) of the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), personal data must be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed (data minimisation).When using ManyChat for marketing communication via messaging platforms, the only data necessary for us to contact a subscriber is their username (or platform ID).The automatic collection of additional data such as: profile picture, full name, is not necessary for the purpose of sending marketing messages or handling subscriber communication.As data controllers, we are responsible for ensuring compliance with the GDPR, including the data minimisation principle. Collecting data that is not required for the defined purpose creates unnecessary compliance risks.We would like to request: The possibility to disable the automatic collection of profile pictures and names. The option to limit collected data strictly to username/platform ID. Clear documentation explaining which data fields are mandatory and which can be technically disabled. This functionality would significantly support GDPR compliance for EU-based users of ManyChat.

Better organization features for chats and sync answered messages with IGNew

I’m using Manychat a bit differently I think than it was originally intended. I don’t use it to blast out marketing messages or AI replies. I’m focusing on community building. I just use the auto follow message and then use the desktop page to handle all the traffic I get from it. It’s much easier to use than IG when dealing with hundreds of messages at a time. Two things would massively improve Manychat for me. Include a way to organize messages of all unread messages or new messages versus responded to. Maybe it already exists, but it’s not super clear for me. I get through answering messages and then find a day or two had a batch of unanswered messages and I missed them. Right now, on IG none of the messages I’ve answered show up as read by me. I can see my response via Manychat, but they all look unread even if they have my answers there. I’d love to have that sync up so if I look at or respond to a message on Manychat, it shows up on IG. This would help me organize and ensure no message or request gets missed.

Hi,I think it would be great if we could have an option to put account connections in folders.People who have a lot of accounts connected on their MC would benefit from this the most because sometimes it can get confusing which accounts belong to who, so putting multiple accounts in folders would make this 100x easier, imoLet me know what you think

I've noticed that in the Live Chat area, there's information about the post response when someone comments on a post, but there's no way to receive this information within ManyChat as a data field.It seems that ManyChat can capture this field, but there's no way to use this information.So, is there a way to use this?If not, why isn't this option being made available to everyone?It's a shame since the information already exists.Also, this feature is already available in other chatbot systems so why not in manychat too?

Hi ManyChat team and community,I’d like to propose a feature that would significantly improve the user experience for businesses using live support alongside automation.The Problem:Currently, when a support agent jumps into a conversation to engage manually with a user, the automation flows can continue to run and interrupt the human-to-human conversation. This creates a disjointed experience for both the agent and the customer.The Solution / Feature Request:Allow ManyChat admins to pause or stop the automation for a specific user by sending an internal command (such as typing “Stop” in an admin-only field or panel) without notifying the customer.Why This is Important: It prevents automation from interfering during manual support. Gives admins full control over when bots should step back. Creates a seamless handoff between bot and human agent. Competitor Reference: Platforms like GoHighLevel already offer a similar internal stop/pause feature. Use Case Example:A customer is talking to a bot, then a support agent takes over. In my current platform, Agents will only see the customers they have successfully "picked" or been assigned to. In ManyChat, any agent can jump into another's chat and "steal" the commission. The Request:Please add a permission setting that:Restricts agent visibility to ONLY their "Assigned to Me" folder and Unassigned. Not All chats. Not chats assigned to fellow agents. Blocks(hided chats) from replying to any chat assigned to a different team member.My Commitment:If ManyChat adds this "Strict Assignment" or "Commission Protection" mode, I will immediately move my account and all my WhatsApp numbers over to your platform.
