If I create 2 automations:An automation that responds to comments on posts. One that sends direct messages to those who perform an action.Will both automations save user contacts, or will contacts only be added for those who interact via DM? Wich automations do no add contacts on my platform? 

Hi! This morning, I ran two automations on one IG post for people to 1) pre-order my book (by commenting keyword “book25”) and 2) buy tickets to my book tour (by commenting keyword “tour25”). I created these as two separate automations in the ManyChat interface. Unfortunately I encountered an error…When someone commented “book25” they received the correct message, and when someone commented “tour25” they received the correct message. HOWEVER, if someone commented “book25 AND tour25,” they only received the corresponding message for ONE of the keywords (usually the first one in the sequence). Why was this the case? Is it possible to run two automations on one post, so that people can receive BOTH responses? I am hoping to run more automations this week and don’t want to run into the same issue! Thank you!   

Hi all,  I hope you're good. Just seem to be having a bit of trouble with my automation today. I have it set up so that when someone replies to my reel with the required emoji, in this case a thumbs up, then they get sent a message with a free download.  I have refreshed permissions, but for some reason, not everybody that replies is getting the auto reply. Just wondered if anyone might be able to suggest some other things I could try?  I duplicated a previous automation which worked perfectly and just adjusted the text and the post the automation was attached to so I hoped it would work fine.  Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks! Sho 

Hi everyoneWe have been using ManyChat successfully to drive WhatsApp broadcast messages during launch campaigns.  However at the moment we are not running any launches so there is no need to keep the ManyChat account alive, until next time when we need it again.Is there a way to pause our subscription for the moment until we need it again? If and when we resume, will everything be back to normal?  What happens to the WhatsApp number that is connected to the ManyChat account?Thanks.

Our company is trying to merge all the Instagram accounts we have from different locations to have one central account. The location owners said they still want to be able to initiate DMs. Is there a way for a team member to initiate a new DM to an account that may or may not be a follower?

Hi [Support Team], I'm unable to set up any automation. Whether it's sending an automated message to comments on a specific post or reel, or automating a response to a specific story, it just keeps showing an error saying, "There's no connection, please try again." I've tried multiple times—logging in and out, checking my settings, and troubleshooting in every way possible, but nothing is working. Please look into this and fix it as soon as possible. I’d really appreciate yourhelp.

Hi!We’re trying to keep as many doors open as possible for leads to sign up to our event and then receive a message on WhatsApp. But what I’ve noticed is that if you sign up on one platform and then on another, your account will only have opted-in for WhatsApp on the first platform. Usually, I wouldn’t mind this, but our audience is older and would sign up twice on different social media platforms.Is there a way to perhaps fix this issue?

They hacked my Facebook account, which was integrated with ManyChat. What happens now is that even though I have access to Instagram, which I unlinked from Business Suite, ManyChat indicates that it is linked to a page that I even deactivated.I only have access to the application, which is very limited, and I would like them to close my account completely so that I can use it with the new Facebook account. There is no way to recover access to that Facebook account.

ManyChat is triggering the WhatsApp flow, but the flow is not appearing on WhatsApp. However, I can see the flow messages in the ManyChat inbox.A popup appears on ManyChat saying, "WhatsApp was turned off."

Hello, I hope someone can help me with my question.I have multiple clients, all of whom are managed under a single business portfolio. My goal is to automate the chat functionality on their Facebook and Instagram pages using AI. I am currently in the process of adding their accounts.My question is:Do I need to pay for a separate ManyChat subscription and a separate AI automation service subscription for each client? Or is it possible to automate multiple clients' accounts with a single ManyChat subscription and a single AI automation service subscription? ​​​​​​​If the latter is possible, what is the limit on the number of clients or accounts I can automate under a single subscription?Thank you for your assistance

Hello! We’ve received 3 days block for dm from the Instagram because of broadcasting. If your service is approved by Meta, why did it happen? If it’s because of the new rules of Meta, may be there’s a list of recommendation from you which we’ve missed and which will help us not to get blocked?

I recently hit a glitch in the system. My automations were running just fine and one day my account disconnected. I reconnected the account, however this is happening. My key word automations will start, but then after the lead clicks on the button, the second message (for all automations) will NOT send. Has this happened to anyone, and if it has, what have you done to resolve this issue? Thanks, Cavan

I am building an AI agent for upselling. In the AI step, I am saving user replies in a custom field, as shown in the screenshot. However, I am facing an issue—user replies are not being saved in the custom field, but AI responses are. How can I fix this and ensure user replies are saved instead of AI response?

I setup Whataspp automation where it seems working fine in Many Chat live chat where all conversation shows fine, however in the contact devices nothing shows there but the messages he initiated ,given that in the contact messages sent shown with two ticks.  

Hey!I have contacts that are attached to different channels such as Messenger or SMS.I want to update the contact person on the WhatsApp channel, but I don't see an option to opt-in to the WhatsApp channel, only Opt-out.What am I missing?By the way, I also tried to update the contact via API but without success.

I’m starting the WhatsApp conversations sending a flow to subscribers. That flow is sending a template message.The problem is when I enter the Live Chat, I don’t see any conversation started, and I can’t review what the users responded. Is there a workaround for that? Thank you.

Im trying to recieve audio as a user input WITHOUT using the Wait for Response set to File type. I want it to recieve as a link in “last_user_input” or something like that, Is there a solution or any workaround? Thank you! 

We are working with a city to implement a chatbot for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and their website. The bot should not only provide information but also allow users to fill out forms directly within the chat.We need a centralized platform to manage these forms, which the bot can trigger based on user requests. For example, if someone wants to apply for a fishing license, the bot should open the relevant form within the chat, the user fills it out, submits it, and the city receives the data for further processing. The key requirement is that users stay within the platform (WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.) rather than being redirected to an external form like Typeform. Now as far as the knowledge system goes this can easily be integrated into the flow I suppose. We need to find a way to sync their database with a vector database like supabase or Pinecone but that I guess can easily be integrated. But regarding the rest: Can Manychat fulfill this?Thanks

Hi, I'm setting up an email marketing campaign using sequences, but I'm confused about how the timing works. I understand the "schedule" feature, which lets me specify when emails are sent. However, when I add a new sequence message (e.g., "Sequence Message 2"), it's asking me to set a trigger for when the message should be sent. I thought the schedule already controlled this, so I’m not sure what to do. Can you clarify how to set this up correctly? I dont want the “when” trigger box to be there but it cant be deleted?
