Ask and troubleshoot

Hey guys, I noticed a very annoying issue that I was surprised to see no one talks about!When user input contains special characters (\n , / etc...) it breaks the json when i want to send it to MakeBut there is no option to clean the input inside Manychat, and beacause it breaks the Json - I also cannot send it to Make to sanitize the input !!Does anyone knows how to solve it? plzThank you all very much

I had this flow that get people info to be contacted later via email or a phone call, it started with a comment in a post then it takes you to the DM and ask you to tap in a button to start all the process. it worked well but I noticed that in some point the button stop working, when I preview it doesn't seems to have an issue but when a coworker tried to do all the process and tapped the button it start refreshing the tab, I'd try to do it with several coworkers and it happened every time.PD: I don’t need the button, but a don't know how to jump directly to the next step or if I there is some way to just put some text and then the next step.I’ll index the reel link and a screenshot of the flow. https://www.instagram.com/p/DBMoi3wu-L5/

Hola…Tenemos una cuenta de Manychat, a través de la cual desarrollamos un bot de Whatsapp.El bot actualmente funciona y se activa cuando una persona escribe algún mensaje a la línea de Whatsapp.Nos gustaría tener la posibilidad de enviar mensajes a contactos específicos de Whatsapp desde Manychat.Es decir, poder iniciar la conversación o el chat de Whatsapp nosotros mismos con Manychat, y no esperar a que el usuario active el bot.¿Cómo lo logramos? ¿Por medio de broadcasts?¿De qué manera podemos iniciar la conversación con el usuario?Gracias.

Estou tentando fazer um fluxo do ManyChat com uma ação externa que capta a foto de perfil do usuário para colocar em uma imagem que mandarei na DM dela. Mas não consigo finalizar essa ação da maneira correta. A descrição só da como “Unauthorized”, e o corpo da resposta fica como “status”:”error”,”message”:”Wrong format token” Alguém pode me ajudar? 😢

Eu estava conectado na conta de um cliente e cliquei para comprar o plano PRO. Ao abrir a aba de compra do plano ela abriu conectada com outro cliente diferente mas sem mostrar que trocou de conta. Passei o cartão do primeiro clietne e quado fui ver o plano Pro foi adquirido na conta errada.  Estou tentando contato com o suporte para simplesmente trocar a conta em que o plano PRO foi adquirido.

Hello! If my template is installed by other users and I update the template, will the update automatically take place for the users as well? Or do they have to uninstall and reinstall to get the latest version of my template?

is manychat down? cannot send any messages

Does anyone know how to solve the issue where the automation specifically does not work for stories? It works for comments and DMs but not stories.  

We use multiple triggers on our Instagram campaigns, but recently noticed that the “Story Reply” triggers are not working for ANY of our campaign flows. The “Post Comment” triggers are working, but at only about  90% - so leads are still slipping through the cracks and having to be contacted manually.SN: we’ve also noticed that our inbox in Manychat is not reflecting the active messages in the Instagram or Facebook apps. I am developing an integration between ManyChat and an API (which integrates with OpenAI's API, trained on my Google Sheets database) to create an interactive chat experience that personalizes a virtual assistant based on user inputs. The process involves capturing a prompt provided by the user, storing it in a Custom User Field in ManyChat, and using this variable in an HTTP request to the API.However, I'm experiencing an issue where ManyChat is not updating user fields from responses to external HTTP requests.When I check the log, it shows that the response is null.Steps I've taken:Verified the server and response format. Tested with simplified static responses. Hello Everyone!Has anybody also encountered the same problem when you're ManyChat Automation Sequence does not work on your FB Page when you tested it?What’s the reason behind and how did you fix it?

The website is unclear about the specifications of  “Contacts” which has us hesitant in subscribing.We see the “Pricing List” but the website is unclear on what counts as a “contact” Is it the amount of messages? Is it the amount of users?If it is the amount of users, why does manychat count them as an active contact if they have not used any of our automations?Is the “Maximum of Number of Contacts” per month or does it rollover for the next month?Exp: Is month 1 = “1500 contacts” then Month 2 = “500 contacts” OR will they rollover. Month 1 = “1500” then Month 2 = “500 contacts” totaling “2,000 contacts” for month 2?If it rolls over, then why would it make sense to purchase the subscription?If a person is added as a contact but never contacts again? Why should we pay that contact if it is not active for a month?How will this affect me if I have 5 instagram accounts logged into my manychat

I have cancelled my Manychat account. Now trying to connect my WhatsApp business number to a WhatsApp business account on my phone is not possible. When I trys to connect to WhatsApp business, I get the message  “WhatsApp is temporarily unavailable. Please try again in 1 hour.” This has been like this for a month. Meta is not helpful as I can not get to speak to anybody there. Can someone please help? 

Cuando configuro un botón que activa la solicitud de email al usuario no funciona, se detiene la automatización. he notado que desde algunos, pocos, teléfonos funciona y de otros, mucho, no funciona. A Alguien más le pasa? 

I would like to authorize my live agents to perform bulk actions like reopening or closing conversations, but without turning them into editors, as I do not want them to have access to automations. How can I do that? 

There is a new feature in Manychat where you can connect Manychat Instagram account to Meta Conversions API. But I don’t see how to use it in Meta Ads Manager. Any guess?Should it be used with Meta Pixel in “Sales” ads? Then how to choose respective button in an automation as an conversion event?
