Hi there, I am trying to decide whether Manychat will be helpful to my business or not, and I'm confused by something in the automation sequencing. The main feature I am interested in is sending people direct messages when they comment on a post. When setting up the automations, there are three options for this: Specific Post or Reel, All Posts or Reels, and Next Post or Reel. We pre-schedule all of our social media content...so if I am trying to create this automation for all of them, I assume I would pick All Posts or Reels. My question is: How does Manychat work when multiple posts are using the same automation? Let's say my automation for all Posts and Reels is set to send people a message when they say "Myco" (our brand name), and there are 10 posts that have went out recently that this automation applies to. If I want to send them specific resources depending on the post they comment "Myco" on, how would that work? For example, on one post they comment on I want to send them a li

Hey, I'm trying to Import my Contacts from a CSV to ManyChat & the issue is ManyChat wont recognize the Phone numbers on my list thus I'm not able to map them to the system. Everything else is mappable except the phone numbers. Most of my contacts are Lebanese so the number format is as follows (+96170000000) How can I resolve this issue?

I used the guide to create the automation. I went LIVE this morning and it is not working on Instagram. It leaves a message but doesn’t send the link that it is supposed to send. Anyone have any ideas. Frustrated!

Hello! I’ve tring to send some data to update a custom filed in Manychat contact but I could not find way to do it. I tried use a GET and POST method, I could create a subscried but not update the contact. Tring to use the GET method I realised that the GET method does not bring me the complete data and the POST method to update ou set a custom field need a subscried_id field to update. I need find a way to get manychats subscribed_id to update the contact information Somebody could help me?

I’m new to manychat and have created a simple keyword triggered Instagram message to deliver a lead magnet. The automation has been running, but my question is now I’ve just added a smart delay followup message. So will the contacts that were in the automation from before receive the followup message? Or will the followup only be sent to those who trigger the automation after the update was published?

Wanted to start this thread here to post any updates as it seems there is a widespread outage for a large amount of users involving their Instagram Automations not being triggered, and also the Live Chat section not populating when receiving inbound messages. If you’re also experiencing any type of issue with automations not working, etc. please reply to this thread... Notes:Seems the problem began on May 30th, 2024, sometime between 6-11pmEST. I currently have no updates after checking Meta/Instagram Server/API Status updates pages, as well as the ManyChat status page. Last time I checked was 9:54amEST, May 31st.

Hello, I have successfully set up my any comment flow for my posts, but how do I change the settings to limit how many responses someone gets so if they comment and engage with a lot of my content they wont be sent the same message over and over again? Is there a way to put a delay so that it only sends if they have not engaged after 24-48 hours or something like that? Thanks in advance :)

I pay for the Manychat pro and use it on my IG daily, but can’t connect it to my FB business page (it just connects to a backup business page I have). When I do go into the page I have connected to manychat, it says I need to have pro for Facebook as well. Is this right? Or should my pro account work on my IG and my facebook already?

I'm experiencing the same issue. The auto-reply function has been down for three days now, and I've been in continuous communication with the support team. They keep asking me to perform repetitive checks, which I've done multiple times, including reconnecting everything. I'm starting to feel that spending money on this service is not worth it, especially since the subscription model requires us to pay even when the system is down. I'm not sure whether I should cancel the subscription and switch to a different system. Are you considering stopping your subscription?
