2 problems my automation is not adding the tag to contacts (I suspect because of the 2nd issue) I cannot manually add tags to the contacts - they are not active:  

We’re scaling our Click-to-Messenger campaigns on Facebook and need to build a unified performance report that joins two data sets:Facebook Ads spend - keyed by ad_id, adset_id, campaign_id (we’re going to collect those via the Page webhook (with messaging_referrals): for each referral we can get sender.id = PSID and referral.ad_id, etc.).Contacts inside ManyChat - phone number and custom fields, accessible only via contact_id using the public API.Problem:ManyChat’s API doesn’t accept a PSID (sender.id) as subscriber_id; both getInfo and setCustomFieldByName require the internal contact_id. The API also never returns the PSID when querying a contact. Manual Bulk Export PSIDs works, but we need a fully automated (or at least daily) way to join spend ↔ leads reliably.Questions to the community:Is there any documented or undocumented

Hi everyone, I’m running into an issue with my ManyChat bot where the onboarding flow isn’t triggering when someone first messages my page.Here’s what’s happening: The onboarding flow is set up correctly, but it’s not being triggered when a new user sends a message to my Facebook page. I’ve tested this on different devices and with multiple accounts, but the onboarding flow simply does not activate. Instead, I’m getting a generic message or some unexpected reply that shouldn’t be showing up. What I’ve already tried: Checked the trigger keywords to ensure they are correctly set up. Reviewed the flow settings to confirm that the onboarding flow is the first message after the user interacts. Ensured ManyChat is set as the primary receiver in the Facebook app.

Hi everyone,I’ve been dealing with a strange issue for the past few months – people are unable to message my page at all (no message button), and when someone tries to follow me, they get a warning notification like “Be careful who you follow.”I’ve checked everything I could on Facebook and Instagram settings, but nothing helps. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what might be causing it and how to fix it?Thanks in advance!

Over the past couple weeks responding to messages that come through twilio has stopped and thrown an error however the messages are coming through but I cannot respond. I have disconnected and reconnected and still have the same issues 

I'm having a problem with my workflow, which retrieves up to 5 messages, merges them and sends a single message to N8n.But I've noticed an error: when the user sends a short message like “Hi, how are you?”, but if the user sends a long message with line breaks, it hangs. Here's the error returned by the External Request node:Bad control character in string literal in JSON at position 454 (line 3 column 423).Do you have a solution for formatting all long texts containing line breaks so that the External request node accepts the content?

hi guys ! I will be working with 2 setters for my IG account and need to use Manychats. However we are experiencing some complications. When in the Manychats - how do I find a specific chat? We have it integrated with IG and when i search for a chat by IG handle, i don’t find anything. Im looking in all possible folders. How do I go about this?Also, not all chats show up in ManyChats. For example, we had a trigger live for a reel - we got a decent amount of comments and the automation worked on all of them, however not all of them showed up in the Manychat UI..It seems to me that there could be some kind of integration error? I would be grateful for some feedback here! So i am just looking for an automation process to add to my instagram account that just says “thanks for the comment and follow” or some other response. I don’t want a link to be provided or any thing. I just can’t keep up with all the comments. Thoughts on how to do this?

Hello, I’d like to send automation to people who spontaneously get in touch trhough messanger or instagram.I try to subscribe them to a welcome sequence or to trigger an automation and even though this is marked as “done” in the chat window, nothing happen.I refreshed permissions and automations are on and not paused.Anyone can explain what is wrong?Is this possible with the free version?Is there a workaround? Thanks,Caterina

Hi there, I’ve set up an Instagram automation that triggers when someone uses the word “etch.” The automation sends them a message with a button linking to a course purchase page.Lately, we’ve noticed that people who comment with the word “technique” are also triggering this automation, even though “technique” is not listed as one of the trigger keywords. I’ve attached screenshots for reference.We’ve had some people who are very confused because they’re a sent link to purchase a course that is not related to the IG post they commented on.Has anyone experienced something similar or know why this might be happening? I simply want to receive a notification every time a user sends a message, regardless of whether the cooldown is active or not.Thanks for your help!

I can't solve the following error in any way, I already tried updating permissions, reducing the messages even though it worked perfectly before.-The error is that my followers from PC and IOS have a very bad visual appearance of the automation (not from phone), I leave some examples in the images. Could someone recommend me a solution?   

Hi everyone!For my Messenger automation, I wanted to completely disable the user’s ability to type messages and force interactions only through Quick Replies. Thanks to the Keyboard Input setting in ManyChat, I was able to hide the keyboard entirely — which is great!However, I still need the user to enter their name at the beginning of the flow. So ideally, I'd like to reactivate the keyboard just for that specific step, and keep it disabled the rest of the time.What I’m doing currently: I disabled Keyboard Input globally (Messenger settings) I use Quick Replies for most of the conversation For name input, I created a User Input block with Text type and left the “Only allow quick replies” option unchecked My question:Is there a cleaner or more flexible way to allow text input only at certain steps while keeping the keyboard hidden elsewhere?

We plan to pass the custom field values through the URL parameters to our chatbot. Is this possible? If so, could you please guide us on how to implement it?2. Each user will have unique values. We want to include them in the URL parameters that the bot shares in the chat. Is this possible?

im setting an automation for whatsapp, the im sending messages with buttons, then.. i expect susbscriber to choose one of the buttons, and after the message ive set a smart delay waiting for the answer. thing is.. after the smart delay started even if the susbscriber chooses one of the buttons the smart delay wont stop and it will continue the flow. Is there a way i can send a message with buttons and set a waiting time for the susbscriber to chose one of the buttons, if not then continue the flow?
