Has anyone noticed IG hiding comments - it’s only being hidden on carousel posts (vs reels). It’s not affecting the ManyChat trigger, but curious why this might be the case...
Hi guys, please help me.Context / stackBuilding an IG bot. Pipeline: ManyChat (Instagram) → External Request (JSON) → n8n (self-hosted v1.105.4) → OpenAI (4o-mini, Assistants API) → Respond to Webhook (JSON) → (ManyChat) Response Mapping → Send Message {ai_response}.Logs/records in Supabase.Conversation memory design (how we keep context) We use the OpenAI Assistants API with persistent threads per Instagram subscriber. On the first message we create a thread and store the mapping in Supabase: subscriber_id → thread_id. On the next messages we reuse the same thread (read thread_id from Supabase), append the user’s text, create a run, then poll run status in n8n (Check Run Status → If Completed? → Wait 3s & Retry). When the run is completed, we fetch the latest assistant message, save it to Supabase, and return JSON to ManyChat via Respond to Webhook: { "ai_response": "..." } Expected behaviorManyChat sends JSON to n8n: { "subscriber_id": "1482029640", "text": "Hi" } n8n ge

Hey, I’m new to Manychat and Make.When someone sends us a DM on Instagram, I only get the contact_id and first name, but I need the username or scope ID to use later in Clay for data enrichment.Does anyone know how to fetch the username or scope ID directly from Manychat when a user messages us?

Like many others here before me, I can’t complete the initial step of connecting my new Manychat account to a new Instagram account I’ve just created. When I try to log in using my Instagram username, Manychat displays Instagram's browser login web form and I get the error, "Sorry, your password was incorrect. Please double-check your password." I know for a fact that I entered my password correctly because I can log into the IG phone app with that same password.Even if I reset my IG password, I still cannot log in via this web form using the new password.I've also tried logging in with my email address and that doesn't work either.I saw a YouTube video that said you need to set your Instagram account to either a Business or Creator so I set mine to Business and that didn’t fix the problem.What's the trick to connecting ones Manychat account to their Instagram account?
I have a client who would like to know how much revenue for her business has come from the Manychat automations that I built for her.I know this can be done via the Manychat Pixel and logging money events.But I am unsure how reliable the pixel is - so I am also wondering if this could also be tracked via a Make scenario instead? ie When ‘this purchase’ is made in Shopify, check for “this button click” in Manychat - and if so send a conversion event back to Manychat and log the revenue.Would love any thoughts about which might be easier and more reliable - and possible! Why this matters Currently, posts can only be attached to flows manually in the dashboard. This limits automation and makes bulk publishing workflows very time-consuming. With API support, developers could fully automate the pipeline from content creation → scheduling → flow engagement, without needing manual steps. Requested feature Provide an API endpoint to link an existing post to a specific flow. This one feature would remove a major bottleneck for businesses managing large volumes of content and would make ManyChat much more powerful for automation at scale.Thanks for considering this request!
Hello! My automation was working when I tested and previewed it, tried it once from another account was also working. Now, it stopped working at all whenever I try to write the keyword. Any clue why is this happening? Thanks
Update: I am currently in touch with ManyChat’s helpdesk to see if they could fix this issue. Currently they are trying to gather more information and example to investigate. My client asked me a messy request, fine. So I need to duplicate an automation and I already know about the option.But duplicating an automation only creates an empty shell! I have two dozen bubbles/cards/whatever and only the trigger and first bubble appear in the “duplicate”. This needs to be fixed!

Hello everyone!I’m building an Instagram Direct agent: ManyChat (Instagram Direct Messages) → External Request → n8n → reply to the user. What’s happening (the issue) A user messages us in IG DM. ManyChat triggers an External Request (webhook to n8n) and immediately sends a message to the user, but it’s an old value (looks like it’s pulled from a custom field from a previous run). A few seconds later, n8n finishes processing and produces a new reply (I can see the correct text in the output of the last n8n node). But the user doesn’t receive anything else — they only get the early “old” message that was sent before the webhook completed. How can I force ManyChat to wait for the webhook response (External Request) so the Send Message uses the updated value? Is there a reliable way to make the flow pause “synchronously” between External Request and the following blocks?
Dear all. I am new with Manychats and just signed up for the pro version, I need help. I set up a flow successfully to collect emails and when I tested it by providing an email address like a lead, It worked however, I cant find the email or contact on my back end. I can only see them only in the Live chat. Is this normal? Also the contacts that are shown on my dashboard, are they contacts that opted in or what because it’s a bit confusing. I will appreciate anyone’s help
