Hi! ManyChat newbie setting up my first flow here. I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I’ve been trying to find the answer on Google with no luck.I’m trying to set up a very simple funnel where a contact receives an initial message containing an open-ended question (without a button or Quick Reply — the goal is to start an organic dialogue). I’d like to send a follow-up message 24 hours later to those who didn’t respond to the first message. From what I understand, I need to use tags and conditions to do this. I created a tag for “responds to message” and then set a condition that will send the follow-up message if the tag isn’t “responds to message.” What I can’t figure out is if this tag will be applied to a contact automatically if they respond to a message, or if I’ll have to tag them manually?I’ve found articles that indicate tags can be applied automatically using the “Actions” feature, but when setting up the tag itself, I

 My account was only set up for insta but my ad also shows up on FB and when people comment on FB Manychat won't work. I think may be FB uses Messenger not DM? How do I get it to work on both FB and Insta? Thank you so much in advance!

I linked two Instagram to one profile. But the second Instagram account doesn't have an automation setting. Why is that?If you set it up as the Help Center told you, the first account that was working well will have an error.

Hello ManyChat Team,I need clarification regarding how the active contacts are counted for billing purposes in my account.My Case:In the first month, around 400 people messaged me.After 3 days, I received 700 more messages from new contacts.So, total in one month = 1100 contacts.My Questions:1. Will my billing plan count all 1100 contacts in the same month (and require me to upgrade from $15 to $25 plan)?2. Or will the system only consider the active contacts of the last 30 days, meaning that when the new billing cycle starts, the old inactive contacts will not be counted again?3. In short:If I cross 500 contacts in the middle of the month, will I be immediately upgraded to the next plan?Or is the count reset after each billing cycle (so that inactive contacts are not carried forward)?Purpose:I want to understand if contacts are accumulated forever (total 1100+) or if t

Hey everyone! 👋I’m currently building an Instagram automation that collects user info (name and WhatsApp number) and stores it in a Google Sheet.So my goal is : Automatically send users a WhatsApp message right after they submit their info. Is there a way to link this Instagram automation directly to WhatsApp within ManyChat? Or do I need an external tool or integration to achieve this? Thanks in advance for your help. 

We have made two payments. The first payment, which is our regular subscription, gets automatically deducted from our card that is already saved on the ManyChat platform. But when we are trying to top up the wallet with that same card, or even trying different debit or credit cards, it always shows an error saying there is a problem with the card. We have already contacted both the bank and ManyChat regarding this, but the issue is still not resolved.

I need my marketing manager to be able to use manychat, however I don’t want to give them my personal google login. Is there a way to either sign in by just an email and password or allow them to access another way? They are admins on the pro facebook page, but I think that would then create their own account, which would defeat the purpose of allowing me to see what they are doing.

I’d like to confirm the expected behavior of the “Data Collection Block” in a WhatsApp flow.Scenario The block collects an option (numeric input). It has a 5-minute expiration if no input is received. If the user submits an invalid value (e.g., a letter), the automation replies with the default/custom validation message and waits for the next input until the maximum number of attempts is reached. Observed behavior After an invalid input, the block appears to wait indefinitely for the next user message and does nothing else. The 5-minute expiration timer does not seem to reset after each user message. Questions Is this the intended behavior? If so, what’s the rationale? When someone comments on my IG post, I can’t see the comment and the automation doesn’t trigger. I’ve tried commenting from my burner account: it looks like only the person who made the comment can see it but no one else. This only happens on some posts with automation and when the comment contains the automation keyword (other comments are posted).It seems like IG flags any word that I’ve included in my CTA as spam and doesn’t show the comment for some reason. I barely get 5 comments on a post so I don’t think the problem is because of volume, I assume it’s a problem on the IG side because the automation doesn’t trigger at all.I am able to see the comments in Meta Business Suite. I created a report for IG support.Has anyone faced this and is there a fix? 

Hi everyone 👋I’m trying to set up a Manychat flow to run as a website chat widget on my Squarespace 7.1 site. In my account I don’t see the old Growth Tools → Website Widget option. I do have Messenger and Instagram channels connected. My goal is for new visitors on my website to click a chat bubble or button and then be guided into my ManyChat flow. Questions: Is the correct setup now through the Messenger Welcome Message + the Facebook “Add Messenger to Website” plugin? Or is there another way to embed a ManyChat flow directly on my Squarespace site? Could anyone share the current step-by-step process for doing this? Thank you! 🙏

Hi everyone! I just pushed my first Manychat flow live 🙌  and am testing it in IG’s preview mode. The first part of it is working great, but I’m running into issues with the 23-hour SmartDelay. Here is a screenshot of one “branch” of my flow. If the contact clicks my scheduling link, I tag them and send a message 20 seconds later -- that SmartDelay is working. But if they don’t respond, I want to send them a message 23 hours later. That message doesn’t seem to be sending. In another part of the flow, I have something similar, except I ask for their email. In that case, I have the SmartDelay + follow-up message as a next step for everyone, whether they provide an email or not.In test

Hi there hopefully some one help me for this… When I test it like inputting wrong info and it still going to message #1 but off course the custom field is empty because the last input text is not match in the data... which is supposed to be will go to my message 2 that the data is not much…Thanks in advance more power to you all...

Go through the steps and grant channel permissions to Manychat:I’ve tried numerous times and the same message comes up. I am the admin for my client and this just happened when I tried to preview on my FB page.I also have these notices as well:Some issues with account's permissions were found. I’m receiving messages from users in different countries 🌍. I’d like to set up my ManyChat flow so that when a user shares their phone number, the system can detect the country code (e.g. +971, +966, +249, etc.) and then send them a specific WhatsApp message depending on their country.👉 Is there a way to make ManyChat automatically recognize the country code in the phone number and trigger a different message for each country?Any tips, best practices, or examples would be really helpful 🙏

Hi!I currently have a personal instagram account and a professional one that are linked under one email on instagram - in the app I jump between them with ease. Every time I try to set-up Manychat it brings up my personal instagram account with no way of getting to my professional one and tells me I need to switch to a professional account.How do I link Manychat to my professional instagram account if it never comes up?Help? :-)Thank you!

For some reason I am not able to use the {{First_Name}} in live chat. When I do this, it just sends as a blank. The System Field for the First Name in the profile I am trying to get this to work on has a value, but I’m not sure why it’s not working. Any help would be appreciated!

I have set up an automation and when the user comments it sends them the information. But, when someone comments with the keyword I’ve chosen, IG hides their comments and theirs only.How can I stop it from doing this?

Ridiculous issue here. .I have many automations, most of them are messaged then choices for customers to flow through. Example: Message 1: Hey, how are you?Message 2 : What can we help you with? Message 3 : Tap one of the options below Need help - talk to a human - what's your price Get it?  So the issue is, suddenly all automations on WhatsApp are not sending message 3.  Basically, any message with a button is not sent. Live chat shows it sent, but it does not go to the user. Have tested with 5 contacts and 3 of my own numbers.  Refreshed permissions etc. What's going on?
