Hi!We have connected ManyChat to our WhatsApp Business.We have a question:When we reply to a customer via the ManyChat interface, automation is disabled for 30 minutes and the bot stops sending messages - which is absolutely true.However, when we reply directly via the WhatsApp Business app on the phone (without using ManyChat), the bot continues to reply automatically, as if there was no response from the operator.Please clarify:Is it possible to configure the system so that any response from the operator, including those sent via the WhatsApp Business mobile app, also disables automation in ManyChat?This is crucial for correct communication with customers, since sometimes it is more convenient to reply manually over the phone.We would appreciate advice on setting up or recommendations on how to implement such logic.

Does anyone know why URLs and QR codes as a trigger went away. I can see just 4 months ago people were able to use them and this app is useless to me as only a social media tool.  I want to be able to get people on my list at networking events and speaking engagements and I don’t want them to find some random post and leave a comment just to do a quiz I spent time creating.  As we can see with TikTok all social media platforms are not promised to us and if one of them goes down our entire funnel can be broken. It feels like because they can collaborated with Meta they have changed the features to force you to only be on social media tool use them. I want the option to do both. I want to be able to text a link, include it in an email, create a QR code. Not everyone is on FG/IG and certainly not the other platforms. I focus on YouTube and putting a link in the description would be helpful since they don’t have DM options.  This is frustrating!

  I have a working "Follow to DM" automation that sends messages to new  Instagram followers automatically - this works perfectly.  However, I want to trigger these messages via ManyChat API from my own  system instead of the built-in trigger. When I try to send messages via  API, I get an error that the contact is not within the 24-hour messaging  window.  I know there's a specific message tag that allows this (since the  built-in automation works), but I can't find documentation on which tag  to use.  Questions:  1. What message tag should I send with the API request to replicate the     "new follower" trigger behavior?  2. Does the API endpoint need any special parameters to indicate this is     a new follower DM?  3. Are there any limitations when triggering new follower messages via API     vs. the built-in automation?  Current API error: Contact not within 24-hour window

Hi Guys, I have recently did everything to set-up the Manychat New Follower message feature. The full workflow has been set-up and in my settings it seems to be connected. However; It is not actually sending out the messages even though it states so. Please see the images below. Any help would be great!  

Hi, i'm running Dark posts Ads since may 2024. Inviting people do type specific key words so they can receive an auto-reply. i just noticed it's not working any more for dark posts (only for posts on my grid). Any one facing the same?

Hello! Normally, I use only one ad for Fb and IG. Since connecting many chat I have to create two separate ads: one for FB and another for IG. This is because Manychat doesn’t connect to both platforms in the same way. This is a huge issue as it doubles my business expenses. Advice on how to mitigate this or get around it? Anyone else figure out a solution around this problem?

Hello, I have reached out to an agent for 2 days straight and no one has responded. I have changed my permissions, refreshed permissions, and tried to set up a dm automation for my FB and IG accounts. They still don’t work. Not sure what else to do other than reach out for more help or find another DM automation platform.

Hi there! I want to use the automation where a user comments a keyword on a post or reel, and manychat sends them a direct message on instagram. However many of the accounts that follow me are private and so i cant direct message them until they direct message me. Can manychat get around that limitations and send a direct message regardless? 

How to solve this error? “Choose the first message for Messenger channel to setup Facebook Ads” Not a single result when I search google, or many chat documents for this problem.  Flow looks like this:  

My account gets an error once a week saying I can't see other people's followers. I've talked to Meta about this, but they don't know the reason. Could this be related to Manychat? Are there any people who have experienced this before? There are no restrictions on my account.

Any updates on when Tiktok will have Reply to Comment followed by DM and have a button that is clickable in DMs?Unfortunately I feel ready to leave Tiktok to rather go all in with Facebook because of the lack of this but if it’s something that’s coming out in a week or two, I’ll stick around lol. Also, someone from your staff told me it was going to be set up this year, just didn’t know when. Hi allMC tells us to setup CAPI so that it connects to an engagement campaign that uses ‘message destinations’https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14580897414300-Conversions-API-CAPI-integration MC support has confirmed to me that only engagement campaigns work (not sales or lead campaigns) My problem is that Meta support says that CAPI events will not be used as optimisation signals for an engagement campaign with message destinations (CAPI events will only be used for reporting). See 2 attached screenshots

I’m using many chat only for Instagram and I have so far less that 100 followers atm, i’m just starting, my understanting is that below 1K manychat is free, but when trying to set a second automation using same features it prevent me to do it. Just want to know if the free plan allow to do all the automations needed without any restrictions. Thanks

Hey so my sms trigger this was working, but its not working anymore, my account is on trial, also I have done 10dlc and verfied everything, retried after 2 days, still its not working, it was working VOIP messages, but it triggeres but message is not sent, checked twilio the logs are not there for outgoing, anything that can be helpful not sure why? and how do I contact manychat team????

How do I make it so I can send a reel link through IG dm’s with manychat and it actually take them to the app instead of the desktop? I have tried a lot of things but nothing is working.

I need it to update itself day by day without manual intervention.Specifically, I want the AI Agent to:- Know the current date (e.g., October 30, 2025)- Know what day of the week it is (e.g., Thursday)- Be able to answer questions about tomorrow correctly (e.g., if someone asks "what day is tomorrow?" it should respond "tomorrow is October 31, 2025, and it's Friday")Is there a way to achieve this within ManyChat itself, without relying on external tools or integrations? Hi, Contacts are not showing up, even after typing the name. In the contacts section is there, I tried also sending more messages to that account but still not showing up. What’s the problem?
