Variable is not working

Hi, I am trying to collect names from IG Automation. So I try to ask leads about their name, then save their name to custom field, then later on I put down the custom field (the variable), the saved information (which is the name of the lead) will be shown. However, it only shows the code of the custom field. I tried to change the name of the custom field to see whether it will work or not, but it can’t. Do you know why? Did I put down anything which causes this issue? Thank you.

automation not working for 2nd level comment (FB)

Hi, our fb automation “User comments on any posts” is not working for 2nd level comment.It works for the first level comment but not for 2nd level comment.See screenshot: Can someone let me know what the problem here? or do you experience it as well? what’s the solution?Thanks,Janice

Hey, trying to get better followups and also implementing some people in my team.But I have the problem, that I somehow cannot filter to unanswered only Chats.Is there no way to do it or am I just blind?If not - how do you guys manage to see only unanswered Chats?Best regards

I love Manychat because I can send a thousand freebies to my followers, but then I get a thousand "thank you" DMs and I just can't keep up.How do you manage those? I receive "thank you" in 3 or 4 different languages.Any ideas will be helpful. Thank you.

Instagram automation on free account?

Hi team,I’ve been a paying member for a long time, and just this week have opened up a secondary new account that we currently have on just the free version. I created an Instagram automation that I converted to Facebook and it’s live and working fine, and I went to create an Instagram one but it’s not allowing me to toggle the trigger to ‘on’.Are Instagram automations not included in the free account?Thanks!

Problem to export Email - I did something stupid

I created an automation and collected emails.I did something stupid; i changed the automation and deleted the part to collect email because I didn’t need to collect them anymore.Problem is, I cannot export the data anymore ! I have more than 1k emails so i can’t do it one by one through the contact menu.Do you know how i can export these emails ?Thank you very much

Instagram ads trigger not able to be selected

The button “user clicks an Instagram ad” for the trigger is gone. It’s still present on Facebook, just gone for Instagram. I have automations running for comments and DM’s on IG, so the Manychat<>IG connection is working. I’ve also tried refreshing permissions. Any thoughts?

Hi! I’ve set an automation to reply on a specific WhatsApp message as a way to register visitors to my business.What I experienced yesterday, while receiving about 40 people at the same time, is that in some cases (2-3 people) the automation started, asked for the name, the people responded and the automation didn’t follow up with the next message… Is there a limit?Or how could I make sure this doesn’t happen again? What should people do in those cases?Send the initial message again to start over? Thanks

Hey, heyI created an manychat account a few days ago and I can't get the automations to work. I've tried every option for troubleshooting, resetting, permission, etc. Can someone please help!?

Ai Customer Service Bot is reaching out to customers... just the wrong way.

I am running an Ai Customer Service bot for my clients. The bot runs through the Instagram DMs. The problem is, once the flow halts at the ‘AI Step’ block for too long, the bot / system automatically sends an outreach message, but it is entirely random and all of the time unrelated to the topic of the conversation. For example, we could be talking about a product which is a breathing supplement and The bot has asked ‘How can I help you today’ When the customer hasn’t replied, the outreach message is something like “Hey [name] I wanted to touch base on your gardening appointment, any thoughts on when we can meet?” I can’t find a way to change what the outreach message is nor can I see the option to disable it.I am lost, help 🙏

Conversions Not Showing in Facebook Ads > Manychat Campaign

I am running a Facebook Ads > Manychat campaign on Facebook.It’s an egagement campaign, where I’ve selected Messaging Appsand Maximize number of conversions. I’ve had 6 people subscribe to my bot. However, when I look in the facebook adsboard under results, it says 0 Messaging conversions. How can I fix this so my conversions show up in Facebook? Thanks

Business Follows Contact on Instagram

What does this condition “Business Follows Contact on Instagram” mean? Does it check if my Instagram account follows the contact? Am I correct?

I am a new user and I am trying to collect emails through IG comments. I set it up to ask a simple question as the first step, then go to the email collection requirement - it is telling me to mark as a comment reply- which I thought I did. Our Instagram Account just got a Ban on Commenting for using Comment + DM Automations

After our company recieved many comments in one day and using dm and comment automation, our account got banned from commenting. Could you please contact your Instagram reps in order to solve the issue with them? If we are commenting to our own audience, then this unstated anywhere rules shouldn’t apply. I beleieve that Manychat is offering this service, then you should sort it out with Instagram.
