Ask and troubleshoot

seems manychat can link existing whatsapp business number to manychat using the coexistence option, so does this mean that the chat history can be accessed either by the manychat dashboard or through the whatsapp application?

One of my customer messsage us on our facebook page but we can’t reply to them. I tried contacting support@manychat.com but I am getting an automated response only.

We're a digital health and wellness brand running 12+ social media accounts across German, English, and Spanish markets. We need someone who lives and breathes ManyChat. The RoleYou'll own our entire ManyChat operation — building and managing automated flows across Facebook and Instagram (comment replies, DMs, story replies) for all of our accounts. The core of this role is constant optimization: split testing hooks, message copy, timing, and flow structure to improve open rates and conversions. Every contact that comes through ManyChat needs to be captured and synced to our email team (Klaviyo) with proper tags so they can retarget. You'll monitor performance daily, fix what's broken, and keep testing to make the funnel better every week. What We're Looking ForSomeone with deep, hands-on ManyChat experience at scale — not just one welcome flow, but managing multiple accounts and high-volume comment automation. You understand funnel mechanics, you know how to integrate ManyChat with Klav

What are the numbers tracking? I have a lead gen that is ONLY accessible through organic social posts, using ManyChat. I’ve added a screenshot of ManyChat analytics and a screenshot of my Klaviyo list growth for the same period. Is the 2817 total views/impressions? What is 65.5% and what is 5%? These numbers don’t make sense at all. I’d appreciate some clarity.

In manychat whatsapp, how i can force a trigger for any text message or image, i do not want to use contain or is or uch formuals. i tried dos not contain XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX but it did not save my settings.

Hi,I have been going round in circles with chat support trying to get this to work. It seems there is a blockage on my instagram business account that isn’t sending to new follower - it hasn’t sent to anyone. It tells me to go onto messaging tools in settings on instagram but I can never find the settings or toggles to turn on/off in the first place. I really need to chat to an actual human for some help! Anyone had this problem? Or know how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated x

we got a number that has whatsapp business number, now we want to connect it to manaychat, but not sure which option i need to use (Create a Whatsapp buisness Account VS use whatsapp business App? and why?:-

When connecting WhatsApp with ManyChat we have those 3 options:- Transfer your own WhatsApp numberCreate a new WhatsApp numberConnect your WhatsApp number with Coexistence [BETA]  so what are the differences between the first and third option? as both will connect to existing number , am i correct?

Original: Bonjour,Je n’arrive pas à réaliser l’automatisation “Say hi to new followers: first impressions are everything “. On me demande d’Update my Instagram permissions to say hi to new followers mais ManyChat est déjà autorisé dans mes paramètres.Savez-vous comment débloquer la situation ?Merci à vous English translation: Hello, I'm having trouble setting up the "Say hi to new followers: first impressions are everything" automation. It asks me to update my Instagram permissions to say hi to new followers, but ManyChat is already allowed in my settings. Do you know how to resolve this? Thank you.

Hello everyone,I'm new to Manychat and I'm running into a few issues. The interface is super intuitive, but a few wrong settings and the whole workflow gets blocked—and I'm paying the price for it 🤣...I'm looking for some info that I can't seem to find in the documentation:Regarding workflow testing, I find the "Preview" feature to be quite limited. It doesn't necessarily test external requests made with AI, etc. Are there any other ways to test workflows? (I'm not looking for just a simple preview; I want to really stress-test my workflow!😁)Thanks for your help, community!Alexandre

I want to build a manychat that get published to whatsapp and then show this inside our website as clickable link, now since the pricing depend on number of messages we can send, so how we can prevent a case where a fraud/hacker generates many unneeded messages to consume the pricing quote? Thanks

I am reading through the pricing at https://manychat.com/pricing . but let say we chose the Business plan which come with 7500 active contracts. so i have these questions:- what does active contract exactly means? whole chat? or per message, so a chat can consume let say 10 active contracts? can we specify to stop replying if we exceed the limit? or to say if we go beyond 7500 active contract, to only answer questions up to extra 50 USD??thanks

Is there a way to detect the language from the user first message, any provide further questions in the desired language? or i will need to explicitly ask the user about his/her language regardless of their first message language? For example, if the user say “Hi” , i can reply in engligh, if they say “Salut” i will reply in french without explicitly asking them about their language. is such a language detection possible? Thanks

Hi everyone,I’m dealing with a critical issue and I’m honestly quite frustrated at this point.I’ve lost access to the Facebook account I originally used to log into ManyChat, which means I can no longer access my ManyChat account or manage my automations connected to my Instagram I’ve already tried reaching out to support multiple times, but I haven’t received any response from a real person, and I feel completely stuck. This is directly affecting my business, as I rely on ManyChat for automated messaging and customer communication, and right now I have no way to manage it.What I need:Help recovering access to my ManyChat account, OR Transfer ownership to a new accountHas anyone here been in a similar situation? Is there any way to escalate this or get in touch with actual support?I would really appreciate any help or guidance.Thank you

Hi,We're using ManyChat API  to automate workbook delivery for our training program. What we do:Call POST /fb/subscriber/createSubscriber with whatsapp_phone to create a contact If subscriber already exists, we get error: "This WhatsApp ID already exists: <phone>" We then need the subscriber_id to set a custom field and add a tagThe problem: When a subscriber already exists, we try to find them using:GET /fb/subscriber/findByCustomField?field_id=14436572&field_value=<phone> — returns {"status":"success","data":[]} GET /fb/subscriber/findBySystemField?phone=<phone> — also returns empty dataBoth return HTTP 200 with empty arrays, even though the subscriber exists and the custom field wa_number (id: 14436572, type: Text) contains the exact value we're searching for. We've verified this in the ManyChat UI.These are WhatsApp-only subscribers (created through WhatsApp channel, not Messenger). Our questions:Is findByCustomField expected to work for WhatsApp-only subscriber

apparently i have to qualify in order to be able to use this feature so what are the qualifications?

**Goal:**I connected ManyChat with ChatGPT (GPT-4.1) using the native ChatGPT Actions integration to automate customer responses for a fitness center (Golem Club) via Facebook Messenger. The bot should answer questions about pricing, memberships, locations, rules, and promotions.---**Architecture I built:**- **Bot Fields** — knowledge base split by topic: `faq_prices`, `faq_membership`, `faq_rules`, `Locations`, `Operators`, `promotion`, `support`, `age`- **User Fields** — `user_question` (customer's question), `gpt_answer` (GPT's response), `need_human` (flag for live agent handover)- **Flow** — Default Reply trigger → welcome message → waiting for customer input → ChatGPT Actions → send response back to customer---**Problem I'm facing:**After the welcome message "Good day" the bot immediately sends a second message showing `{{cuf_14504907}}` instead of waiting for the customer to type their question. And after sending message I got {{cuf_14505348}}It seems the Data Collection block is
