Ask and troubleshoot

Hey! Trying to connect our IG account to Manychat. Only works through Meta Business Suite in some way, not through the new Unified login. When I try logging in, at the end it says:“• You can't log in with this Instagram accountTry using a Facebook account that you know is connected to this Instagram account”How to solve this, so we can start trying Manychat and use the Follow to DM feature?Tried 2 IG accounts, both the same.

Hello, Manychat Family! We’re aware of an issue where webhooks are not being delivered for some Instagram accounts. This may cause automations to fail to trigger or stop when a button is clicked. The issue has been reported to Meta, and we’re monitoring it while awaiting their response. We’ll share updates here as soon as more information is available. Thank you for your patience. Please also check our Status Page for more info.

Is there a way to validate zip code with the data collection node and a condition?  I am stuck and would prefer not to API a zip code validation tool or script any ideas?

I’m unable to reconnect my Instagram Business Account (@bencorde) to ManyChat because the Meta authorization page only shows the Instagram login, not the Facebook login required for the new API.Every time I click “Update your Instagram permissions to say hi to new followers,” it sends me to Meta’s “Authorization Request” screen → I log in with Instagram → and get this message:“You can’t log in with this Instagram account. Try using a Facebook account that you know is connected with this Instagram account.”I’ve tried everything — clearing cache, different browsers, devices, removing/re-adding ManyChat in Business Integrations, confirming admin access, and linking my Page + IG correctly. The issue persists because my account is still connected via the old Instagram OAuth API, which Meta deprecated in 2024.ManyChat chatbot confirmed the old API connection (ticket #399766) and said the issue needs manual migration to the Unified Instagram Onboarding Flow — but I haven’t received a response.

Currently, the instagram inbox automation only works when a user writes a message (trigger only for new messages). But because we have a feature that requires users to first share a post (post/reel), and that post then gets analyzed by our bot and he gets a reply, but because ManyChat currently only can input text from users, not this, we will likely cancel our subscription because that's not possible. Is there a workaround for this? And if not, then I would like to make this into an idea.

I have Messenger, Insta and WA connected. I have a CTWA ad active, Click from facebook Ad and Click from Insta Ad turned on. But in Meta Business manager I when I click on Create New to conenct to ManyChat as a partner - nothing happens. crickets. Anyone have a similar experience?

Hi everyone,I’m trying to set up a Facebook Ads Trigger in ManyChat by following the official guide here:https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14281372007196-Facebook-Ads-TriggerSo far I have: Created an automation and added my first message (with at least one Quick Reply). Added the “User clicks a Facebook Ad” trigger and activated it. Set that first message as the default starting step for Messenger. Saved, published, and made the flow live. However, when I go into Meta Ads Manager and choose Partner App → ManyChat, I never see the JSON GT opt-in snippet appear in the Message template section. It just shows a blank flow selector—no JSON code at all.Has anyone encountered this? What am I missing to make the JSON GT opt-in show up in my flow? Any advice or steps would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance,

Hi there, hoping someone can help me. When setting up an automation to auto dm new followers I’m getting an error code saying “Couldn’t create automation. Try again later”. Anyone experiencing this?

I have keywords configured for comments that ask about value, for example. And I've configured several different texts so that ManyChat responds with a different text for each comment.I noticed that it's sending a default text for all comments, and this text isn't even configured in the automation. This is the text: "I sent you a message!"Anyone else having this problem?

Hello, when I send a message or automation to my customers through live chat, it doesn’t get delivered. Also, my account still appears as pending. How long does it usually take for the status to change to connected or something similar?

I have tried everything I’ve been able to think of to solve this issue, but when I try to set up an automation I get this error message: Couldn't create automation. Try again later.I reached out to support yesterday and still no response. This morning, I tried again, and for whatever reason, it worked. But now, this evening, it’s back to giving me the same error message. Anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it? TIA!

I have switched to a paid account, but the automation “say hi to new followers” still does not work despite having refreshed my authorizations with instagram account, disabled/enabled the automation.it is marked as live but don’t understand why on all new followers it does not work. it had worked for several weeks under free account, I have checked on many other issues on this forum to ensure I did not miss anything. may you please help me?

I can’t seem to complete adding my Instagram account to ManyChat.  Here are the steps. When I log in, I get the screen notifying me that I have not added any accounts to it, yet.I click to add a new account, then I get this and I select Instagram. On the next screen I click “Connect Via Meta”I log in with InstagramI enter in my Instagram credentialsI Save Info. I click Login as marciadiane_authorI accept marciadiane4060 as the Business Portfolio and  marciadiane_author as the Instagram Profile and click Continue. I click “Save” And wait a few seconds. Then I end up on this screen. The first time I arrived here, I sent the request, then the button turned gray and it said, “Request Sent” I’ve tried repeating this process several times and I always end up here. I check in the Facebook Meta Business Suite for messages asking to approve this request and I can’t find any. I am new and cannot get human support since I will not pay for something Im not sure if it will work.   I set up a Say Hi to new users, and that works fine.  When I set up an Key Word Trigger automation no luck.  I went the AI route to fix and have all items correct in the set up.  I must be doing something wrong.  Can anyone help?

Since yesterday, I've been having a problem with Instagram disconnecting and reconnecting, and messages that used to load are now not loading. In addition, I added automation to Messenger, and now I don't know if it's a meta or manychat issue, but suddenly some regional settings changed, I have a different business site, and I can't reply to customers. Can anyone help or know what I can do, what's going on?

HiI Is anyone else having issues with IG DM automations? My automations aren’t new, so not sure why the DMs or automated messages aren’t being sent. Thank you!

Intente de todo desde crear nuevas automatizaciones pero mis automatizaciones funciona 1 o 3 veces y deja de funcionar estoy desesperada ya no se que hacer ayuda

How can i make sure that after I send the opening message to a new follower without many chat automatically sending a message to the lead saying “Automation powered by @manychat” This kills the personal point of the message

For some reason OPEN AI WILL NOT RESPOND TO MY TRIGGER WORDS I SET UP EVERYTHING RIGHT AND DID TEST.  Yes I did publish both n8n and many chat and when I go to Instagram to test I get no response
